Pool under repair long grotty room

Originally we were put in a no star grotty room that definitely wasn't what we booked. I went and complained showed the booking again and we were moved to a more acceptable room on the top floor (no elevators to the rooms - steps that go on forever). The reason for staying here was the pool which I was told would be fixed the next day - it was clear it would never be avail during our stay. Very disappointed as it was very very hot. Breakfast was the only positive.

Hade kunnat vara fint

Hotellområdet ligger nära Ram Jhula och är lätt att ta sig till med taxi eller rickshaw (från vägen är det en slingrig backe som kan vara jobbig för vissa). Det hade kunnat vara jättefint, med små bungalows runt omkring. Men rummen är skitiga och hela området hade behövt rustas upp. Personalen är trevlig och tillmötesgående. Maten i restaurangen är jättegod. Poolen är tom och verkar inte vara på väg att fyllas nån gång i framtiden.

Not so fun Ganga Beach Resort

I had booked 4 rooms in this hotel. Me along with my friends were totally disappointed with the condition of the rooms. The television was broken. There was no wifi in the room. Only in the lobby and restaurant area. The food was overpriced( glad that we had complimentary breakfast). The bathtub was broken. It couldn't hold water. The checkin-checkout time was mentioned 2PM-2PM on hotels.com, however, the hotel staff asked me to evacuate before 11AM. That was totally unexpected and rude. The only good thing about this hotel was the river ganges flowing near it. Nothing else. Trust me you wont pay that much money just for seeing Ganges. It was a totally bad experience and I suggest you to look for any better hotels.

Was ooit super

Eerst kregen we een kamer met schimmel op de muren en een muffe geur. Ook handdoeken en bedlinnen waren oud en vuil. Na 4 andere kamers gezien te hebben en beleefd te onderhandelen kregen we uiteindelijk een deftige kamer die zijn prijs waard was.

Ridiculously over priced. Nothing like description

I was sorely disappointed when I was taken to my room. I was paying $60 for a deluxe room, and I got what looked like a run down, old, unloved, cramped, room that was barely worth $15. I requested to be moved, into the room that was described here on expidea. They fobbed me off for two hours. With persistence I was moved. But the room was still nothing like the described room here. The bathrooms have tiny showers that barely dribbled. Some serious scum and mould cover the floors. The only thing this hotel has going for it, is its view. But you can get this same view, at most places in Rishikesh, for a third of the price. The food in the restaurant was over priced, and relatively tasteless in comparison to the delicious food I've experienced else where. Would definitely NOT recommended, unless you want a giant hole in your budget, that was not worth it.

Das Hotel ist eine Baustelle und die Bungalows sehr unsauber.

Seulement le Gange...

Ok, hôtel en surplomb du Gange où sont les rapides, donc vue époustouflante avec le son de l'eau avec soleil levant, WOW!. Mais quelques fois troublée par la descente de radeaux de rafting dont les participants ne se gênent pas pour crier. Et le soleil un peu plus tard plombe et rend la chambre très chaude. Côté chambre: horrible: porte dont les vis sont lâches, n'assurant pas une totale sécurité une fois barrée, en plus des bestioles qui peuvent passer sous la porte. Boiseries abîmées à. Frigo qui ne fonctionne pas. Poussière sur le divan. Trous dans les couvertes du lit, mais draps propres. Pas de cuillère pour brasser le café. On m'apporte en arrivant deux bouteilles d'eau: très bien. Douche ne marche pas, ni climatiseur, aucun chauffage en ce début de février. TV fonctionne bien. Assis sur le balcon, la rampe massive de ce dernier cache le Gange en grande partie. Place bien située entre les 2 passerelles de Tapovan donc facile d'avoir accès aux commerces et ashrams. Je crée une commotion en au petit déjeuner du muesli qui est sur le menu: ils m'apportent des flocons d'avoine à la place... De payer un surplus pour le petit déj. ne vaut pas le coût: on peut manger pour beaucoup moins cher en ville... Je veux envoyer un courriel de l'hôtel, ils ne veulent pas. Et au départ, le personnel n'a aucune aide pour monter la côte de 800 mètres très à-pic avec mes bagages totalisant 35 kg. En somme, à part la vue sur le fleuve sacré, propice à la méditation, le reste est très décevan

Hotel in posizione tranquilla sul Gange

Ci sono molti lavori in corso, in questo periodo piscina ed accesso al fiume non sono attivi. Le camere sono un po' datate, comunque confortevoli e con una buona vista: ne stanno costruendo di nuove. Il personale e' affabile ed efficiente, la posizione e' ottima per chi non ama la confusione di Ram Juhla e Laxhman Juhla, che peraltro sono a 5 min di rikscio'.

Breathtaking view

Excellent location. The view from the balcony was excellent. Gangaji flowing touching the wall of the hotel and the mountain. What else you need early in the morning while having a cup of tea.

Worst Hotel stay ever

The Hotel stay was a total disaster. I had booked a higher category room by paying more. The room features advertised were very attractive including a in room jacuzzi etc. However the room given to us was completely un inhabitable. It looked like some old warehouse with broken walls and an unhygenic washroom and no service at all. After fighting a lot and arguing a lot with the management and making several complains with Hotels.com, did they give us the promised room. so basically the management was trying to con us by charging us for a superior room but offering us the worst possible cheapest room. Had we not fought we would have had to spend the night in a broken down room at the rates of an executive room. My suggestion, be very careful and also be ready for a fight with the management if you book this Hotel
