Rita at the front desk is awesome!Posted Oct 4, 2015
When we arrived, Rita could not locate our reservation (it had never been received but our credit card had been charged). She allowed me to use the hotel phone to call AARP Expedia and spoke with them about our missing reservation. Although she did not have a room for both nights we had requested, she was able to provide us with a king room for that night.

It was better than expected for an "Econo" Lodge. Close to historical attractions in Harpers Ferry and to water activities (tubing, kayaking, etc.)

DisappointingPosted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: The breakfast was adequate.
Cons: I know that on the web site it offered a king room or I would never booked.
I not sure what I missed when booking I would of never booked a hotel that offered only double beds. The hotels was very shop worn. The facility needs major face lift. The room acceptable but not to my standards. The staff was pleasant but no one went out of there way. For the money it was not what I person am use to. It was more like a $75 a night room.

Un motel correct à l'écart du centre et proche de la voie rapide. Les prestations sont en rapport avec le prix !

average but closePosted Jul 13, 2015
Stayed here because so close to harpers ferry. Others had reported mustiness smell in room and we had this as well . Took a plug in deodorizer to help with that. Beds very comfy. Bathrooms very clean. Staff helpful and pleasant. Breakfast ok. Eggs flat patty microwaved... Bland. But plenty

Just minutes from Lower Town Harper's Ferry!Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: We liked that our hotel was just minutes away from the places that we wanted to visit.
Cons: If it were possible, it would be great to have a stop light across the street from the hotel. That would help on the wait time to get in traffic.
Location: Econo Lodge is just a few minutes away from the Harper's Ferry National Park, Lower Town Harper's Ferry, and Antietam Battlefield. Great location!!
We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Close to downtown Harper's FerryPosted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Uncomfortable bed and pillows. 2nd floor exit door would not work from the outside w/room card.
Location: Downtown very short walk away. Country Cafe is a great place to have breakfast.
Middle of the week is the best time to stay here. Not a lot of tourist in town at this time.
