"Excellent room! The room was equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable bed. Impressed with the wonderful breakfast provided. Will definitely be staying on each of our trips north and on our way back home . Want to compliment the young lady taking care of the breakfast area. She was so very pleasant and kept the area clean and well stocked."

"We were here for a short visit, one night. It is an old home converted into a B & B. Our room was clean and comfortable with an in room bathroom, very clean. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. The meal was delicious and prepared by Megan the chef/innkeeper. There was plenty of food and quite the variety on the plate. She cooked and served the meal. Would recommend this establishment to everyone if you plan on going to Harpers Ferry West Virginia."

"We’ve stayed at this location before. The location is great to Harper’s Ferry and the view is very nice, since it is up on a hilltop. The rooms were an average hotel room, nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. Amenities included body wash, shampoo and conditioner, which was very nice. The bathroom is small but functional. The floor gets dangerously slippery when wet, so use a towel on floor. Breakfast had all the continental breakfast options: yogurt, waffles, eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, etc. no internet service from dining room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking free and easy. Room was clean and A/C worked well. Slight smell in room and hallways, but not bad. Dinner in restaurant was good. I’d say a little pricey for the stay, but overall good place to stay near Harpers Ferry."

"Over the past decade, vacation rentals have become underwhelming and spartan. Safe investments for landowners who have no personal connection to the space rented. This home bucks the trend. From the moment you walk in, the home is oozing with warmth and personality. It is cozy with shelves full of tasteful media. It’s clear that the owner uses this as a vacation home and has put a lot of love into designing a space that is hospitable for actual living.Photos don’t do the views justice - especially as seen from the kitchen or the master bedroom. The kitchen itself is well-equipped, beds are comfortable and plentiful. Sound systems stellar.Some confusion arose for us over access to the nearby lake and to the pool. Apparently these are country club amenities and it seemed like we couldn’t access them as guests in the community.Otherwise a great, well-located, stay that feels remote but is close to Harper’s Ferry and other lovely towns. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to come back someday."
