Rooms are great! Outside is in need of renovation

The rooms were very nice and clean but the hotel was very out of date. There is no lobby only a check-in desk, you have only stairs to access the second level, the building on the outside is quite run down. But rooms were nice once you were in and the check in clerk was nice and friendly.

It appeared that the front desk personnel were trying but had little to work with. There was a couple asking for their money back to go elsewhere. The beds were not comfortable. The room was not very clean, some unknown stain on one of the towels. The TV was very old and very small. Since it was hooked to cable which was HD it made the viewing screen even smaller. Glad we only needed to stay for one night!

Absolutely no housekeeping during stay. Beds weren't not made, trash was not emptied, and office was closed except for check-in.

Stay somewhere else

Arrived at motel to be greeted with a sign saying out of office be back soon call number on door if you need assistance. So we walked across the street and had lunch and waited for the office to open. Finished lunch and went back to the office to find nobody there. Called the number on the door and talked to the manager who said someone would be there shortly. After about 10 minutes the maid showed up to open the office and get us into the room. Went out that night and returned to the room only to have the electronic key not work. So went back to the office at 10:30 pm and guess what? Nobody in the office again. Called the manager, he suggested that my kids and I find another room for the night. After a bit of yelling he said someone would be there shortly. Went back to the room to wait and found that the window was left unlocked all day so that anyone could just climb in, so rather then wait an hour that's what I did. Called the manager told him never mind the door is open he said oh good and hung up the phone.

We are a seasonal property, and our office is not staffed 24/7, however making our office hours more guest friendly and our staff more accessible is the number 1 change on our list. No refidgerator like advertised, towel rack broken in bathroom, tV was small. Needs some updating.

Rooms are clean. Staff unavailable during most of my stay. Including checkout. Wifi did not work. Tv was very small and up high. Could not turn it on and off with remote

Bad experience

First room had bad smell. Second room air conditioner did not work. Third room ok but key card stopped working and no one was in office to let us in room. Just by chance maintenance was in the area and let us in room and got new key card.

Very accommodating staff

The motel staff went out of their way to make sure that I was able to get to and from my meetings. They provided direction and local insight for dinner recommendations. The motel itself was very comfortable. The only improvement that I would make is to replace the water saver shower head with a more traditional one. But I realize this is water conservation decision of the motel management and may be more of my personal preference. Would stay at the motel again.
