Needs TLC

Posted Nov 25, 2015
Pros: Hot Shower & Comfy Bed
Cons: A lot of minor things need to be addressed -- a little TLC would make this a great place
Location: It's Hershey -- lots of fun for old & young!
We checked into our room and saw the $50 fee for a coffee pot and was concerned from the beginning. The room was clean w the exception of a Q Tip tucked under the pillow of the bed we weren't sleeping in ( thankfully) and we didn't notice it til the next day. Towel bar in bathroom was broken and the heater went from hotter than H@#@ to BRRRR so we were up on & off turning the heat on & off. There was vomit on the ground outside the door that was there during our 2 night stay. Plus Side : It was cheap - bed was comfortable - very hot water & water pressure in shower was excellent

Stuffy room

Posted Nov 9, 2015
Room was stuffy, hot, sheets smelled dusty, window cracked open and wouldn't shut, door to get in hotel right next to our door with people going in and out all night could hear people yelling and swearing all night. Didn't get a good nights sleep at all!!!! Room outdated and didn't look anything like online pics!!!

Ripoff for the swap meet and car show

Posted Oct 11, 2015
Its a $50 a night motel charging over $200 a night just for the yearly swap meet and car show. No latch on the bathroom door. A tube tv! Seriously! We'll be coming back to the swap meet next year, but I'll sleep in my car before i stay here again.

Convenient location. Hotel needs work.

Posted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: Location. Price. Staff.
Cons: Needs updates. Please fix air conditioning!!!
Location: Near Hershey Park, Tanger Outlets, Indian Echo Caverns. Also not far from Harrisburg.
The woman who checked me in was very nice, super sweet. She took extra time to give me recommendations on where to eat breakfast even though she was busy. But when I tried to get in the back door to the building she directed me to in order to get to my room, the lock was broken. It could not be opened from the outside. The solution was to prop the door open with a rock. My main disappointment was the air conditioning was broken and it was miserably hot in the room, especially for my poor mother who is going through menopause. I opened the window to try to help let air in during the night. There was no screen in it. We had to keep the lights off so no bugs came in. We were on the ground floor and my mom was a little worried about safety too. It would have been super easy for someone to crawl in the window. The positive to this was we could hand our baggage right out the window since our car was parked outside it. There were no other rooms available to switch to. I had also hoped to use the pool, which was supposed to be open until 9:30. I went to check it out around 8:30, but it appeared to be an outdoor pool with no lighting. It seemed to be an older hotel, in need of updating. But at least it was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Great location near Hershey Park, and more affordable than most others in the area.

Don't rent this place

Posted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: nothing
Cons: Needs ground care, needs to say truth about rooms, needs to have the pool running and clean. A new bathroom or clean the bathtub and put a shower head
Location: Can't find breakfast close by on a Sunday morning, only a Dun-kin about 5 miles away. No pancakes house or
OK let's start by saying the pool was green and closed. The inside isn't a deluxe double room. The mattresses are hard and very uncomfortable to watch the TV. The control remote didn't work, the internet was very very slow, the room was tiny. Oh, the bathtub dirty and no shower head and the water stays in the walls because it is an outdated bathroom, you can't even see yourself in the mirror. They should have a much lower price for this place. Didn't smell bad, I give them that much. But, I was charged a lot for 2 nights. Trust me you can do so much better than that in another whatever motel.

Don't waist your money

Posted Aug 30, 2015
This place is expensive and bad. They have it as a deluxe double room when in reality is one small room, really bad mattress, no shower head but whatever you can't even see your face in the bathroom mirror . Everything gets full of water. Oh wait did you say deluxe? There is not a breakfast place near here opened on a Sunday morning? Never coming here again
