Nice Hotel. But total surprised with valet fee.

No where both on the internet and at the hotel was there any indication of a parking fee. It wasn't until I looked at my account did I see the $18.00 parking fee. I think I should have been told when I pulled the car in the garage that there was an $18.00 parking fee. At that time, I could have made a decision to park at the hotel or find another parking facility.

We have signage posted as you enter the hotel, detailing the parking fees, as we are a downtown property and parking is at a premium in the city. Our rates are lower than the surrounding garages to remain an attractive option for our guests. The valet parking in a secure and enclosed garage is another attraction for our guests. Quiet and very clean

Pros: Staff
Cons: Bottled water in the refrigerator in the lobby.
Location: Probably a great business hotel located a block from the capitol. You can go on walking tours in the old churches and even the state capitol building
The staff at this hotel were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was recently updated and the bathroom was very nice. View of the downtown area was nice also. Easy walking to many restaurants and the river is only two blocks away.

Shower was absolutely delightful, coffee was a lot bit terrible, but it didn't make the stay any less enjoyable.

There's No Place Like Home....

This hotel has no idea what good customer service is all about. The check in staff was quite helpful although I wish I could say the same about the Indian lady working overnight. Condescending doesn't begin to describe her attitude. Almost as if she felt like she was better than me. Giving me a song & dance about the importance of their security measures that she completely disregarded when all was said & done was an enormous waste of my time. I do not plan on returning primarily because of the terrible beds & the unnecessary attitude I was greeted with upon approaching the front desk but the lack of a microfridge/wave in what I assumed to be a prime downtown property all but sealed the deal for me. Put out a little extra & stay at the Hilton. You'll be glad you did.

Nos hicieron bajar a todos por una alarma de incendio, 9 pisos por escaleras en mi caso, y al llegar a planta baja nos informaron que era una falsa alarma !! OMG

We appreciate your business and sincerely apologize for the fire alarm. We quickly returned everyone to their rooms, and were able to contact some of our guests before they vacated their rooms, when we realized it was caused by a fog machine in the ballroom. The DJ was quickly instructed to deactivate the fog machine. Our contracts do not allow for said equipment to alleviate the above challenges.
