I have stayed at 100s of hotels throughout the world. This was, by far the worst. It was filthy, in ill repair, lacking basics, and had a clueless staff—just dreadful. Why would this hotel even be an option on Expedia? It had favorable reviews. I spent over $500.00 on my feet sticking to the carpet, and no iron, no tissues, no coffee, scum on walls and surfaces, no TV guide, TV signal going in and out, key auto-deprogrammed 7AM morning of checkout, maid service only if ask for it, breakfast area furniture gross. Unbelievable.

There was nothing we liked about this hotel. 1st off our room had no electricity when we entered the room. Called the deck and were told to give them 15 minutes and they would turn on the circuit breaker. In the mean time my grand daughter and I check the room with the flash light on our phones. It was filthy there were chicken bones rotting beside a chair. thick dust and dirt every where. The refrigerator was filthy with sticky goop every where. Before they even turned the lights on we were out of there. It was disgustingly filthy. Shady people walking around out side. Did not feel safe. Offered us a second room which had cockroaches running around it. We left them know we will not be staying her, They would not refund our money because they said we used the room for 20 minutes. Stay far away from this hotel it is unsafe and filthy.

The room was quite cold (60degrees) when I entered. The heater could not be set above 74 and the heater was not capable of warming beyond 72 degrees. No toilet paper, no tissue paper, no coffee maker, no hot water for the shower. The breakfast room was also cold, maybe 65 degrees. I had to knock on the office door to request a remote for the TV in the breakfast room and when the door opened it was significantly warmer in the office, to the tune of at least 10 degrees warmer. Breakfast was ok. However, the waffle batter ran out before breakfast was done and not refilled.

This was an absolute terrible experience. I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone. I made my reservation for a King Room, and when I arrived to check-in the very rude lady at the front desk said that she didn't have any King Rooms left. She gave me a room with 2 beds with no compensation. The 1st room she gave me had not been cleaned and the beds were not made. The room we ended up with the floor was dirty and need vacuumed. I tried to take a shower in the morning and there was no hot water. The room didn't even have a trash can. The walls were dirty and in need of repairs and painting. The refrigerator in the room did not work and we ended up leaving our food in the car.

Never gave any bad reviews before but this was most terrible rooms experience.End up changing to 3 rooms, 1st one with very bad smell, 2nd with Terrible AC sound and toilet not running.and 3rd room without any hot water..Booked 1 king bed and staff mentioned all king rooms were booked.,Also not good food. Least recommended

You Get What You Pay For - Served the Purpose
The Days Inn in York was an affordable stay and served the need, but was more of just a place to sleep, as I wasn't inclined to "hang out" there. But this is the purpose of this motel, so that worked. The beds don't have enough covers to stay warm, and no extra blankets in the room, so I had to turn the heat up to 74 to stay warm on 2 cold nights. The pipes have rust, because the water comes out orange at first, until you run the water for a few minutes. Room 102 has a very slow bathtub drain - needs to be cleared out (I reported this to front desk). This was a solo trip and I would not stay here if returning with my wife.

The hotel is located near everything we needed during our stay (restaurants grocery etc). The room was spacious with a microwave & mini frig.

Pictures of room were taken when property was doing better! Sofa had mismatched cusions that didn't fit, bathroom was in varied stages of unpainted sections, tile spacers instead of grout, missing pieces, etc. Shower curtain was fabric with no liner so floor became damp and slippery. Bed was comfortable though and we were mainly there to sleep, not hang out.

No maid it is but the whole of my stay I guess you have to ask for it but they want top dollars for rooms ,also ask for batteries for tv remote ,well it created a problem al they had to do was replace them ,then the were rechargeable batteries but they couldn't give me none,had to program tv by hand to watch & every 10 minutes had move tv cause ipicture woul go out

Person on night shift at check in was rude and rude and rude. Did not get what we booked which was supposed to be a room with a King Size bed, first room had no heat and TV did not work. 2 nd room had no cold water at bathroom sink. However staff in morning a young lady was amazing and at least when we left we had a smile because she was great. I stay in budget hotels often and don’t mind paying almost a $100 but this one should of been more like$50

Phones did not work No flush handle on toilet (had to remove lid and flush from inside tank) Front panel of micro wave was dangling, when my daughter touched it she got a shock. Was told I could pay in Canadian funds. (not so) All these things were related y\to manager. They were not surprised or concerned I have never stayed at a place like. We will be more alert from who we book' PS Breakfast was done well * (one star)

There is work being done around the property so there are pallets of things laying around. The front desk wouldn’t allow me to use a credit card so I had to use the atm across the street and get cash to pay for the room. It only gave me smoking room online and when I got here there were non smoking available. I prefer non smoking. The lobby was empty and didn’t feel warm and inviting at all. The curtain did not meet so seeing both in and out wasn’t that hard to do. The key to get in the room did not register the first two attempts I tried to get the door open. You have to move it around for it to work. When the air was set to 75 degrees high fan it blew out cold air for 10 mins before it got hot and heated up the room

The room reaked of smoke. Generally clean but broken furniture and light switch missing with an exposed hole. I feel like I'd expect that at something like a Motel 6 but night a Days Inn.

I have stayed at this hotel previously and it is going down hill, fast. Cable TV services freezes up and can't watch. Neighbor's dogs barked for two hours while they were out. Material cut on couch. Stains on bathroom walls. No grab rails in shower. Staff downright rude. Will never stay here again and you shouldn't stay here either!!!

The property is old and rundown. The bedding and the linens were clean and fresh, the best thing about the property. The breakfast was terrible!!! I asked if they had decaf coffee. Response, no. Dim lighting in the bathroom (one light).
