Rooms could use an updatePosted Sep 2, 2015
Pros: Nice bars and restaurant on the property. Indoor and outdoor pools. Plenty of activities.
Cons: Rooms are pretty small. Bathroom is tiny. Could use more dresser drawer space.
Location: Convenient location with shopping and dining nearby. Close to Harrisburg, Hershey, and Carlisle.
Location is convenient, facility has great amenities, and good dining and shopping options nearby.

My family and I had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Anything we needed we got right away. The amenities were great. It was a full and fun vacation.

Clean & comfortable, but will never stay againPosted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Close to the park, many nearby restaurants
Cons: Breakfast - completely! And making sure our room gets locked up after being cleaned!
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Hershey Park and a lot of nice restaurants adjacent to the hotel. However ... we are a family of 5 and I tend to stay at hotels that include breakfast. This breakfast was beyond disappointing. When we arrived between 8:30 - 9 am there weren't any cleaned off tables - I had to do that myself while the host stood there and watched me. They were out of eggs and bacon so we waited 10 minutes before it was brought out. The eggs were literally floating in water! The only toast that was available was rye and their cereal selection was All-bran and Shredded Wheat (nothing kids will eat). We picked on the bacon and potatoes (those were both good) - and then stopped at Dunkin Donuts across the street to actually eat breakfast. We spent the day at Hershey Park to come back to our room that was never locked after being cleaned! Anyone could have stolen all of our things throughout the day! The manager apologized and offered to credit part of our bill - and it has now been a month since our stay and nothing has been credited. We called the hotel & the manager claims she knew nothing about this. The disappointing breakfast I could have dealt with, but the lack of responsibility with locking our room & lack of attempt to gain our trust back is why we will never stay at this hotel again.

Comfortable night's rest.Posted Aug 24, 2015
Was a comfortable place to end a long day at Hershey Park. The rooms are accessed directly from outside, so it's a bit noisier than some other hotels, but parking is convenient. There's an outdoor pool that looked nice. Staff was helpful.

Very nice place.Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: The people running it.
Cons: No ice machine. Not a big problem, but it would b e nice not to have to buy ice if you want it. Also, very few TV channels, but that got us out more
Location: Hershey, shopping, many places.
The room was above average, the breakfast was above average, but the staff couldn't have been nicer. They were extremely attentive, helpful, and doing things they didn't have to do to help with whatever situations that came up.

Hotel Ok, Staff DisappointingPosted Aug 14, 2015
Pros: Two pools, family and dog friendly (although we didn't take our dogs with us). Chef in Blarney's (the hotel's restaurant) was awesome!
Cons: Hotel front desk staff could use customer service training.
Location: Hershey Park, Chocolate Factory, Many stores for back to school shopping.
The hotel is an older hotel, is a bit worn but comfortable and clean. They have two pools on site which is great for families. Upon check in there were only two sets of towels for a family of four so we had to request more towels and of all things, more TP (only one roll). The chef in the adjoining restaurant was awesome since we had a child that requires a gluten free diet, he took the time to come out and talk with us and suggested a wonderful meal for her. Front desk staff were disappointing. I was told I could not have a copy of my receipt because I booked through Expedia (this also happened to the couple in front of me upon check out). They took my credit card with no problem but couldn't produce a receipt for my records.

Cons: Maybe checks could be made a few times through the night that could quiet tail-gate parties and such during the night. (after 11-12 o'clock)
Most everything was pleasant, however, there were some folks partying late and were very loud for a while during the night.

Good stayPosted Aug 12, 2015
Pros: On site restaurant/bar. 2 pools. close to some stores and more restaurants.
Cons: Check in. The room I reserved was not cleaned by check in and I had to be put in a different room or else wait until room requested was cleaned
Location: Very close to highway off ramp. Not much to do right there but many attractions near by
Expedia said to check in after 3pm. Reality is they do not do check ins until after 4pm. Had to hang out in the lobby for an hour. Then the room I reserved was not ready or available. Was put in a room with 2 beds instead of the one queen. One bed was too soft the other was quite firm and l liked that. Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. Getting to the room was a bit confusing. Several buildings that are not attached to the lobby.
