Beginning at check in it was an awful experience. The guy at the front desk yelled at me saying I wasn’t disabled. He said I couldn’t have the room we booked. Then I asked if he had another non handicap room. Booking it was a mistake as the listing just said accessible and I didn’t understand that I guess. He said ‘ no I don’t have no rooms for you’ like go somewhere else. I was really upset. We needed a place to stay for the night. He said we got a discount because it was a handicap room but they aren’t discounted for that reason. It was discounted because it was getting later in the day and hotels.com doesn’t want to lose money. I don’t even want to use hotels.com anymore and I will surely never stay there when in the area again at a convention.
