Nice place to stay but plan to pay for parking!
Nice place to stay. Very clean and the rooms are spacious. We have stayed here many times and it never disappoints. I am however a little discouraged as it seems they have added a "daily parking fee" that I never had before or at least didnt catch it. I can understand the fee if there are parking challenges but there are not. A very large parking lot with enough spaced to accomodate several hotels. Shame on you Marriot for gouging people for parking!

My room smelled funny. The smell woke me up in the middle of the night. Kind of a paper mill smell, so perhaps theres one nearby

We were shocked to get a $2.26 charge for parking. This is a motel on a major interstate. We have never been charged for parking.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff were very friendly. Our room was close to the door which has some ups and downs. It was easy access to bring our dog outside but the door kept slamming shut and it was very loud when anybody would leave through that side. The room was spacious but unfortunately had a water leak from the AC so the carpet around that area and near the bed was soaked. We had to keep asking for towels to put down.

The stay was fine. But we were very disappointed the corporate dictates the room is cleaned once a week! We were here for two nights. Our bed wasn’t even made! When I pay $500 for sleeping in a bed and the use of a shower I want my bed made! Not asking too much. These stupid covid excuses are asinine! The damn virus doesn’t even live on surfaces! Get with the science and start giving cleaning service again! This is so stupid except that you save a ton of money. We won’t be choosing Marriott until you regain some sense of customer care! Clean the darn room!

The property itself is really nice. We enjoyed our stay and it was clean and quiet. We were traveling from Boston to Knoxville, and this proved to be a nice break in our long drive home. We picked the hotel partly because it was listed as pet friendly. We booked the hotel through Orbitz and got there around midnight. After I finished checking in, I told the employee at the front desk that we picked the hotel because it was pet friendly and that we had two black lab puppies. He asked if I knew the hotel policy on pets. He explained that it was $125 fee to have your pets stay in the room. I told him I thought that was excessive since the room alone was $109. He said that was the policy. I then told him we would leave the pets in the car as we slept. He said that was illegal and we couldn’t do that. I am not against paying an extra fee to have dogs in the room my issues are: 1. Paying more for the pets then the entire room seems ridiculous. 2. I wish there was clearer pricing when we booked the hotel on the pet fee. I filtered the hotels by pet friendly, but nothing was mentioned of the $125 fee. 3. I’m not sure it’s the hotels role to tell me I can’t leave my dogs in my car overnight. Not my preference, but it was going to be 40 degrees and not too hot or cold outside.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a full kitchen with fridge and dishwasher and a cooktop. We've stayed other places that were more expensive and didn't have this feature. It made the stay well worth the cost.

Thanksgiving stay at the Residence Inn
I arrived very late in the night just prior to Thanksgiving Day. Worried about getting everything packed in and settling down I was greeted by a very hospitable gentleman named Stewart who was excellent at informing me of all the amenities available to me and directing me to my living space. Stewart was very concise and pleasant in his demeanor and I appreciated his friendly attitude after having driven a good 8 hours to be greeted with such warmth and hospitality. My living arrangement was exactly what I wanted and needed to accommodate my needs. I had several Thanksgiving dishes I wished to bake and prepare and the kitchen was fully operable and provided me all the space, appliances and stocked dish soap and utensils I needed to accomplish my tasks. My bed was very comfortable and bathroom clean and accommodating. Also, a gas station and convenience store was nearby as well as a McDonald’s and some restaurants but being Thanksgiving ,I really did not go to the restaurants. I enjoyed my stay and the friendly front desk help and even talked to Rachel during my stay when I somehow messed up the channel information on the television. She was very friendly and said she would help in any way she could. It really was not a big issue at all but appreciate her attentiveness to my call. Would definitely stay here again. I did not get to enjoy the pool or hot tub but was told it was open and available for my enjoyment. I saw the pool & hot tub when I arrived and it looked inviting.

Overnight getaway.
Overnight trip with 10 year old son & nephews…enjoyed the pool & jacuzzi even tho the jets weren’t powerful at all but the water was nice & warm so it was still nice to be in it. The room was super cute & comfy except the heat didn’t feel like it warmed the bedroom at all, to me it felt like the air was on & it didn’t feel comfortable. Outside of that it was a good time & we enjoyed our stay.
