Get what you pay for

Pros: Fridge, microwave, free internet (when it worked)
Cons: Customer Service/ staff friendliness. Full toilet paper rolls when guest arrives. More toiletries. More than one vending machine for whole building.
Location: Centrally located. Not many choices of eating places around it but it's not far to other exits off the highway for more food options.
When we first arrived we had to wait for somebody to appear to check us in. Of all employees/family members, we found only one to be friendly. Room was clean. Disappointed in lack of toiletries available for showering. We booked this place because it has a microwave and fridge and free internet. The free "high speed" internet is not high speed. It worked the first night (not too quickly) and following morning and after that we couldn't use it. The one vending machine was broke. The ice machine was leaking water. There were issues with the side doors. Free breakfast could have had more options but being able to have waffles was a bonus.

Fine if you have low expectations

Right on the highway so it's loud. Commercial area so lights on bright into the windows all night. Decent breakfast. Worn and run down room. If I hadn't gotten a great price if be very disappointed. As is it was functional.

Traveling south

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: Proximity to interstate
Cons: A little more than a package roll and coffee for advertised breakfast.
Location: N/A
The motel was easy to find from the interstate. We were not staying in Carlisle only passing through.

Get what you pay for.

This hotel was as expected. You get what you pay for. It was centrally located, close to the highway, offered a decent breakfast spread and was very reasonably priced. However, the air conditioning was broken in my room (the hallway was cooler than my room), the room had a moldy/musty odor, and the bare minimum was offered as far as toiletries. In the end, I feel I got exactly what I paid for.

Motel needs some TLC

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: It was close to the Carlisle Fairgrounds (2.4 miles)
Cons: The whole place needs refurbished. The rooms are non-smoking, but you can still smell stale smoke in the fabrics in the hallways.
Location: Antique shops, Walnut Bottom Restaurant - GREAT, Williams Grove Speedway, Carlisle Fairgrounds
The people in charge are very hard to understand because of their accent. There was a section of the bathroom ceiling that the finish plaster had fallen off and there was mold. The bathtub had a ring of dirt around the bathmat. The continental breakfast is a joke - two kinds of bread, a waffle maker, a small basket of cinnamon rolls, some fruit and yogurt. On Saturday morning the cinnamon roll basket was empty by 7:45am. No sure if it ever got refilled.

Stayed there 2 nights. After night 1, reported the refrigerator wasn't working and they did not fix it. Also tried to make a cup of coffee and the maker leaked.
