RV Show - Hershey

Met all our expectations and then some. Was great for the pets with lots of room out back for the dogs to run

Great location and outside pool.

Staff, what there was of it, was great but for labor day both this hotel and Hershey park were wanting. Those working were working hard but there weren't enough. The hotel needs some maintenance. our bathroom had a mildew smell that came and went that the staff tried amd offered to move us. The indoor pool did not have anyone that stayed and there were unsupervised kids running and getting rough in the crowded pool. Our mattresses could use replacing but everything else was clean. And well run.

Not a good experience. Got a dirty room. Won't recommend this hotel to my friends..

Not very clean, it was rundown. Towels smelled odd and there was mold in the rooms.

A bit worn, short on luggage carts

Location: Good location for driving - easy access to the freeway and quick shot into downtown. Not really a place to walk anywhere.
Nice overall layout, large rooms and a nice enough (and pretty) pool. But everything seemed to be worn and they just seemed to run out of everything. The pool was out of towels, our room had a plastic-wrapped pull out couch but we had call to get sheets. (which were themselves rather thin and old) I stopped at the desk asking for a luggage cart and she explained that all of them (2?) were in use and indicated that I was welcome to hang out in the lobby waiting for one. I just stammered and walked away - it seems a basic level of hotel service would be to offer to send one up once it's available. Other silly things - checked in for 4 people but only got 2 breakfast tickets. Which wasn't a great breakfast, but the kids liked it. Service in the dining room was cheerful and helpful - probably the brightest spot in our stay.

We strive to provide quality and comfort 24/7, as it's all part of our hospitality promise. Not having pool towels or luggage carts available when needed is unfortunate and will be addressed. I have ordered additional supplies of each. We do have 8 luggage carts on property and if they are in use, we will provide assistance from a staff member. Our breakfast package includes 2 adults tickets for breakfast. We currently don't have a package for 4, but will consider it moving forward. Regarding renovations, we are excited to announce carpet replacement throughout the guest corridors in Q4. The color and design is awesome and guaranteed to change the overall quality of your visit. Nice hotel close to Harrisburg/Hershey attractions

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, nice location.
Cons: Warm up the indoor pool. Make the breakfast faster and complimentary like other hotels. Most people want to eat quickly and get on their way.
Location: 15 minutes from Hershey park. Lots of food places nearby. Nice-sized strip mall across the street with a Target.
We arrived very late but the gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant. We booked a family suite for 7 of us. When we arrived, we were upgraded to the presidential suite. Nice suite with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a spacious living room, and a kitchen. Unfortunately there were no dishes, pots or utensils. Beds were very comfortable. The 2 pools (indoor and outdoor) are large and clean, but the indoor pool was too cold for me. My 7 year old loved it. The breakfast was so-so. Long wait to get seated. But the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate out the second morning. The cucumber water in the lobby was a nice treat. Quick 15 minute drive to Hershey Park. Overall, a nice hotel for a family. Would book it again.

red lion stay

I have stayed at the hotel a few times before this trip this time I went with my two kids and my friend and her son. The place was nice and clean as always the staff friendly as always. The only problem I had with this stay is that I had to call the front desk three times for towels.

Nice amenities.

The hotel had indoor and outdoor pool and spa, ping pong, billarpool, tennis boleyball and basketball courts, restaurant, breakfast buffet and barand free wifi. This is a lot of stuff for an average of 170 a night per room. The hotel is understaffed during the night, affecting the quality of service and the carpets of the hotel at the hallways needs replacement. Some of the rooms smells like cigarettes. The manager is vey nice and helpful however if you need to contact the manager is not a good start. It's a 3 star hotel. If you can't afford the Hershey Hotel than this is a great option.
