The room we reserved was spacious for my husband, teen, toddler, and I to stay 2 nights (1 king & sofa bed). There was conveniently a microwave and small/med fridge inside. However, we were a bit underwhelmed once we got into the hotel after reading all the wonderful reviews. The front desk gal was very quiet and didn't say much at all. Our room was on the 2nd floor and the hallway was always super hot, and smelled of weed the first night, and cigarettes the next. Luckily, our room smelt nicer than the hallway, but was also too warm and turned down the temp. The door to the stairs on the 1st floor was broken and slammed loudly. The 2nd floor has an overhang to the 1st floor, allowing the sound to be hurd on the 2nd floor.
Going into the room, there were many lights to turn on, and was not very well lit unless all of them were on, but the blackout curtains were nice for sleeping in! The room itself did appear clean, just outdated. The sofa bed also didn't fully lay flat, and it squeaked a lot. The king bed was very comfortable and the extra chairs were a plus. I had requested for a crib for my 2 year old, however, this also was outdated and reminded me of the cribs at the hospitals in the late 80's/early 90's; about 3.5ft x 2ft, white metal crib on wheels, firm base pad, that squeaked a lot.
Breakfast was only OK, but dining area is very small and often full. The gym is extremely outdated and cables were broken. In a great location with lots of food and shopping options.
