It is true what others say on this hotel in terms of Hilton Honours Members being the priority and others are a distant second.
I knew from a friend whom stayed recently that the hotel was partly refurbished so before booking I did my due diligence. My first call got me to central reservations whom told me all the rooms were refurbished (no true). Knowing that this was misinformation I called the front desk to identify which type of room was refurbished and was advised that not all either supreme or luxury rooms were 100% done however the junior suites were.
I therefore booked a suite and low and behold I was put in an old suite!!!! I complained and the hotel were very accommodating offering dinner for both of the nights we stayed on the house, plus a free drink at the bar and waived the parking.
They also relocated us to a refurbished room for the second night.
I cannot fault the level of service experienced whilst at the hotel, however, I would not have booked if I knew that there was a chance of being allocated a ‘tired’ room. Would have stayed at Hotel du Vin instead.
