Great hotel close to the airport and the city

Pros: Clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, great location, easy access to and from the highway, close to the airport and city, reasonable rates.
Cons: Wi-fi - I was not able to access the internet from my room..
A lovely modern hotel near the airport just off highway 91 and a short drive into Hartford. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. There were events taking place at the hotel while we were there, but the room was never the less very quiet and we slept well undisturbed. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to a friend. We had an excellent dinner at RC Grill which I would also recommend because of the great service and the reasonable prices. My only gripe is regarding the wi-fi in the room which would not connect to the net, I spoke to the manager about it and he helped me to get on line through the lobby area wi-fi and provided me with a password which should have worked in the room but unfortunately did not. I didn't bother go to the manager again about the room wi-fi since I had already done all my correspondence from the lobby. I felt that the manager and staff had a caring and helpful attitude towards me as a guest and that the wi-fi problem was probably something they didn't have much control over so my gripe is not with them, but that is why I only rated the hotel amenities and condition at 4.

Cool staff. Cool room. Just as described. No WiFi though unless you pay for it.

Location: Right in the middle of the Day Hill Corporate Business areas in Windsor CT...Very convenient for business travel there!!
Nice stay...great facilities. Only wish there was monitoring in pool area..lots of kids w/ parents who acted like they could care less!!! For a business like hotel setting did not expect this...not a relaxing swim at all!!!n nOther than that rooms and amenities well above average!!! As a Marriott Rewards member I might stay here or the Courtyard across the street next time!!

Pros: It was clean and quite. The loby was impressive and had a small snack bar that was convenient for on lthe go.
Cons: My room had minor annoyances. The toilet would sometimes run until you shook the flush handle. The room took as long time to heat up.
Location: As I was lnot on vacation and came only for the specific reason I mentioned above, I did not get a chance to see what the nearby vicinity was like.
My trip was for the purpose of attending a family funeral in Bloomfield. I spent very little time at the hotel to give a realistic reveiw. Most of my 3 day visit was spent with my family at their home. I used the hotel for sleeping only.

Room had a broken bed, and a drawer that feel out when you opened it! When telling the manager he said "let me try it".

Escaped ny blizzard

Great overall. Only downside was when I found out, when I got my bill morning of check out, that the tv which allowed you to go to all the channels they offer really wasn't free. I wasn't told anything about this and the tv usually has a screen to tell you before you change the channel. Oh well. Also most places these days offer free wifi for guests...not the case here.

Bad bed experience

I went there thinking that I was going to have two double beds and ended up with a king only. I ended up sleeping on a pullout. Not what I paid for.

Check your bed for stains!

One of the beds had a big blood stain in it that was on the mattress protector. House Keeping had already gone home, so we could not get a complete set of clean sheets. There were not other rooms available that would suit us, plus they were going to charge extra to put us in a better room. My wife ending up sleeping in two chairs pushed together. Absolutely terrible!
