Fresh, Clean and very comfortablePosted Feb 6, 2016
Pros: The friendliness of staff.
Cons: Upgrade appliances in the rooms. Stainless steel appliances should be the minimum standard.
Location: I loved that it was close to shopping centres.
Loved my stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Always smiling and had a genuine interest in how my stay was going and if I was comfortable. The room I stayed in was a little but dated though - had old appliances but apart from that, it was extremely comfortable, fresh and clean. The curtains were automated too. Very nice.

Close to UConnPosted Nov 22, 2015
Pros: location and price
Cons: Pillows, sleeper sofa matteess and chair at desk
Location: close to UConn, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby
Stayed here one night while visiting family member at UConn. About 20 mins from Storrs campus, not too far. Checked in around 10pm, no problems, had to walk a little from parking lot because we arrived late. Breakfast was okay, nothing special but staff was helpful at breakfast. Bed was not the most comfortable but was okay. Pillows were crappy. Mattress for sleeper sofa had plastic wrap so was noisy everytime my son rolled over in bed. Chair at desk was very uncomfortable so we swapped out another chair while using desk. Wifi was decent but definately not high speed.

Bad ExperiencePosted Oct 4, 2015 on Hotels
The first room we checked into was very cold. We put the heat on and the room immediately smelled like burnt hair. Yes I'm aware dust needs to burn off, but this was bad. Called the front desk, lovely clerk offered to switch us to another room. The new room reeked of onions and some air freshener and had no wifi. We had checked in late and were too tired to call the front desk again. The good news was it was warmer. The bad news was the elevator shaft was behind our headboard & closet. Absolutely horrible night. went to front desk for check out and they apologized for the room we were given. Seems they're fully aware of the elevator noise problem and only assign it if they're booked solid. Had someone shared that little tidbit the night before, we might have stayed with the burnt hair smelling room.

Good experience though a sad reason to stay.Posted Sep 15, 2015 on Hotels
We had to stay for my grandma's funeral. We have stayed here before. Though the facilities are in need of updating and repair, the service and the staff are incredible and made the whole trip easier. I truly enjoy staying there. They go beyond the normal service and the staff are extremely courteous and friendly. We had a pet with us and they make us feel very welcome.
