A very cozy, personal feeling. The lobby had chess, a pool table, a puzzle table, fireplace, books... nice place to hang out. Great breakfasts, great staff, nice pool and hot tub. Live music one evening. We absolutely loved it (visiting from NJ) and highly recommend.

It was my first time in the area and it was a pleasant surprise to stay at such wonderful Inn. The room was quinte, clean and charming. Coffee and tea was available at all times in the lovely lounge.

Wonderful place to stay.............
We've stayed at the Simsbury in many times, usually during the warmer months. Always wanted to see the inn decorated at Christmas. It was absolutely beautiful. So classy and festive. We have never had any issues during any of our stays. Staff very friendly and very accommodating. We always receive a warm welcome. Hotel very clean. As usual, we highly recommend!

Our bathtub had 8 hairs in it, it was disgusting. It was clear the cleaning was inadequate. There was a storm and the hotel lost power so we had no lights or heat in our room for a few hours. It was uncomfortable.

This historic hotel is not just charming, it also has plenty of amenities. Our crew loved that breakfast started up early each morning with grab and go or sit down options. The rooms are large and nicely appointed, and it was wonderful having a pool, sauna, and hot tub available after a long hike.

It is very comfortable! It’s a little outdated in the pool area, but the property as a whole is quaint. Also, there is a smell of air freshener or candles that is heavy but only in the check-in area
