Close to airport

Posted Oct 16, 2017
Overnight to catch a flight. Bed linens and towels were clean; carpet and horizontal surfaces were not. Food left in fridge from previous tenant. Breakfast was passable. Airport shuttle had a good driver but van was too small so I'm sure one couple missed their flight by not building in 2 hours at the airport.

Conveniently located close to airport

Posted Oct 14, 2017
The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and offers shuttle service. The close convenience comes at a price in that every given airplane that departs rumbles throughout the room and actually shakes the bed! No quarters need for a vibrating bed!! Lol... that being said the room was clean, sheets were fresh, hotel staff not friendly. Shuttle driver never spoke a word, I asked for my receipt at checkout and was told something but could not understand what I was being told, finally I was whooshed and never did get my receipt.

We are pleased that our location made it convenient for you to catch your flight from the airport. Being the busiest airport, many planes do arrive and depart from the airport daily. Thank you for your feedback and for choosing Days Inn. We are aware that you had many choices and we are appreciative that your choice was Days Inn,

Rude staff! Hotel name misrepresented.

Posted Oct 9, 2017
Pros: NOTHING
I decided not to stay at this hotel after being checked in by a very rude personnel. He ignored me for minutes before acknowledging me even though I was the only guest in the reception area. The area did not look like a safe environment so I asked him if I could please see the room before I checked in. He immediately started ranting about I won't be able to get my money back. Also, when I made the reservation through Expedia, I made the reservation for the Days Inn but the key swabs said Motel 8, which appeared to be a little suspicious to me. I took the keys, looked in the room, went down the street to Holiday Inn Express and was greeted professionally. I decided to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. I took the keys back to the Days Inn and told the staff there that I decided not to stay there. He again ranted that I was not going to get my money back. I told him my money was not my primary concern; my comfort and sense of safety was more important. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY!!!

Days Inn certainly wants our guests to feel safe and comfortable. Our daily goal is to provide a clean, comfortable room at an excellent value. We do apologize for the confusion regarding the key cards. Unfortunately, the incorrect cards were sent upon ordering new ones. Please know that we will make sure that our staff member is aware of their behavior and is again schooled on the proper way to greet our valued guest. We hope that you will consider giving us another opportunity to serve you if you find yourself in our area again.

Terrible Experience

Posted Oct 5, 2017
Pros: Absolutely nothing!
Cons: The rooms need to be updated. Need newer furniture and bedspreads. And it needs to be exterminated for rodents!
Location: There was really nothing nearby. I think its located in an industrial area. The hotel beside it though (Holiday Inn Express) was very nice.
Got to the hotel room and it smelled musty and the double beds looks more like oversize singles, the furniture was ratty. Missing door knobs on old dressers and chairs that had stains on them and bed covers with rips in them. Asked for a refund which expedia agreed to do; however, the hotel itself would not honour it. They agreed to move us to another room in their hotel. We moved to another room, which did smell better; however, there was a huge cockroach in our bathroom. I was NOT staying there after seeing that. Contacted Expedia again, and this time the hotel agreed to give us a refund. Expedia offered us a $25.00 discount to put against another hotel however, when I called to book the hotel next door, they could not see any discount on my file. Just an overall bad experience. Plus the reviews on this hotel were way better than what it really was!

Good for an overnight stay!

Cons: Roach problem
The cleaning staff was pleasant but there were roaches in the room. If you don't like noise it is not the place for you....We had a downstairs room and could hear the constant movement of the people in the upstairs room. There is continuous airplane noise being near the airport if you are sensitive to the sound of airplane taking off all day then this is not the place for you. We didn't find it intolerable.

Being close to the airport does have its pros and cons. We will have our pest control come and inspect the room where you were to ensure that is no reaccuring problem. We would love to ask you to return again and give us another opportunity to serve you. I am sure we can do a better job.

Over priced and dirty

Posted Sep 13, 2017
If you don't want any sleep because of fear of the filth, and the constant planes taking off directly above your room, this is the place for you. This is a $30 a night hotel that they charge 150 for..save your money and sleep under an overpass instead, you'll have the same level of comfort.

Was difficult to get someone to answer the phone before I arrived to the hotel and from the hotel room. Cockroaches were inside drawers. The inside door lock was broken. No complemetry water, they charge for printing.

Just say No!!

Posted Sep 9, 2017
This is the worst hotel experience I can remember. I waited over 30 minutes for the airport shuttle. When I attempted to call the hotel, the phone rang endlessly 4 of 5 times. The one time someone answered, the man was abrupt, difficult to understand, and provided an inaccurate response. The hotel lobby area was very dirty and cluttered. The clerk was was borderline rude. Our room was in poor condition and needs a lot of TLC. The breakfast was acceptable, and the attendant in that area seemed nice. I would rather keep driving than stay in this hotel.
