Nice, clean hotel, convenient location. It is close to major attractions so you don't have to drive far. There are plenty of restaurants close by where you can get a good meal for a decent price.

Poor Hotel, In a bad location.

Pros: Good Staff! Good Breakfast!
Cons: Exhaust fans for bathroom, fix air conditioning system. Not all bedrooms suffered from this issue.
Location: Movies, some food. Little to do around the location.
Room had some flaws that affected the ability to sleep. Air conditioner could not keep up with the warm humid climate leaving the room warm and very very humid. Condensation collected on all surfaces throughout the stay.

hotel is located at a convenience location

Pros: pillows
Cons: floor, get rid of carpet and use small area rugs that can be washed.
Location: we were just passing through
it is hard to inspect the room upon arrival because the room is dark. We like to inspect for bed bugs because we have had a bad experience with bed bugs. we prefer rooms with good lighting and light color carpets

I am sorry that you had an issue with the guest room lighting and we will look into brighter bulbs. It seems that most hotel brands require carpeting in the guest room but I appreciate the feedback. I will relay your comment to the appropriate department.

I would definitely use again!

Pros: It is conveniently located to New Orleans. The location of all stores and restaurants are right there!
Cons: Nothing
Location: Several restaurants, shops and malls. New Orleans is only miles away with tons of entertainment
The staff was awesome!!! They went above and beyond to make sure that me and my family were comfortable. I would definitely use them again!

The website showed 24 hr ck in. I got there at 1:45pm. There was no room for us. They said 30 minutes, we waited..they said 10 more, we waited...they said 5 more....by this time we had to leave to make an appt on time. They were nice enough to allow to change clothing for our appt in lobby restroom. Crowded space but we got it done. Staff was nice enough about the issue. On the hotel wall check in is marked at 3pm checkout 11am. BUT website does not give this info.

I am very sorry to hear that you had an issue at check in. Hotels.com is a third party website which is not powered by Holiday Inn Express. I apologize if it had incorrect information. Our check in time is 3pm and check out is 11am for future reservations. Thanks for bringing to our attention so that we can get this corrected with Hotels.com.

Clean, comfy, friendly.....and awesome B.fast!

Came to N.Orleans for Halloween weekend. It's about a 10 min car ride to the city. But catching an Uber in n out of the city can add up. Plus Ubers are not always avail in this area especially later in the evening. I couldn't help but notice a moldy smell upon arrival, but some how I got used to it and didn't notice it after awhile. Extremely friendly staff (but they can be a bit noisy in the mornings), clean rooms, and comfy beds. I was highly impressed with their B.fast! They had so much to offer, even a pancake machine! I just wish it was avail til later. This is a city that never sleeps. Guest on vac. get in late and like to sleep in. Hard to make it to B.fast by 9:30 AM before they stop serving. Not too many restaurant options in walking distance, and no markets. Make sure NOT to go to the Chinese restaurant around the corner! Overall I enjoyed my stay, but think I will stay closer to the city next time.
