“Junior Suite was comfortable and spacious with a newly refurbished bathroom (shower over bath). There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room, nice soft towels, robes in the fitted wardrobe, sofa bed made up as a bed in the adjoining lounge when we arrived. The leisure facilities are quite old but we knew this when we booked. The water in the jacuzzi was nice and hot and the pool a good size. “ I have a few comments regarding our stay. I wasn’t expecting a five star but in some ways a 3 star was a little overrated. We were greeted by the most loveliest helpful receptionist. He was 5*. It went downhill from there I’m afraid. The room was ‘ok’ but we got what we paid for. When returning from night out the night receptionist was 1* at best. He cod barely converse. “Disappointing experience . When I informed reception at 6.15 pm that we had no water for the bath or shower I was told there wasn't any maintenance available . So neither I or my wife could have a shower that evening or the next morning ( today ) . On check out I reminded the manager of this problem , but no redress or discount was offered ; until I asked for a discount . Even then the only discount offered was the removal of the service charge on the evening meal ( as this charge was……

“Incredible location, lovely staff and cosy room. The staff really made this place that extra bit special, they were so attentive and chatty it was lovely to talk to all of them. They really made our stay so much better than just the hotel itself which was beautiful!”
