“The room was modern and clean. There are no reception staff, so you have to enter the property and your room using a code. Unfortunately I did not get the code prior to my arrival and had to try to call through the doorbell camera but there was no answer. I sent a WhatsApp message and got a response within 5-10 minutes. On the morning of checkout, I went for breakfast and my code stopped working for the exterior door when I returned. I once again had to call and message to get back onto the……

“Absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the bungalow. Balcony view breath taking. Seafood rice in their restaurant was fantastic as was the free breakfast the next morning. We did the zip line the next day. Not for the faint of heart but well worth it.”

I did not realize that the rooms did not have A/C, so things were hot the first night (reception closed at 8:00), but they were able to get me another fan the second night l, which made things better. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay which included access to a local swimming hole which was very refreshing. “This is a cute little property off the beaten path. Lots of tico places to eat in the area but you need a car. We don’t recommend the seafood place across the highway though. Breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade bread and condiments. The laminated note in the room about not getting sand in the beach towels was a little odd!”
