“The communication between the owner and the property manager was great! They made sure I understood exactly how to get to the property and get in. Couldn't ask for nicer people. I don't like giving bad reviews, so I'm trying to be constructive. The AC wasn't on so it was about 95 degrees. Finally cooled down a bit at night. Fridge and bathrooms still had lots of "stuff" in them from others. Many items broken, but the beds were nice and we just needed a place for a night near the airport,……

“Host was very hospitable and flexible with switching our last night when the flight changed; plus they arranged a nice taxi for us and we were able to use credit card (most require cash). Nice to have a kitchenette, fridge, and area to sit and have coffee in the morning. Nice sofa and TV for when it rained all day. If staying longer than one night, must have a car to get to anywhere nearby (groceries, nicer places to eat such as the brewery or to go to the city or monkey sanctuary, highly……

“Manuel and Anna were the absolute best hosts. They picked us up from the ferry and took us on a tour of Belize City on the way to their home where the studio apartment is located. We stopped at the grocery store, purchased dinner from a local woman selling traditional food, and stopped at the liquor store near their home before checking in to the cutest, cleanest room. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, the shower had great water pressure, and the breakfast the next day……

“The host double booked the property to 2 completely separate guest and did not provide a full refund for the mixup of the 1st day. Very inconvenient. The property is in a central location where you can walk around.”

“This place is a DUMP !! False advertisement. Described on website as a deluxe 1 bedroom studio apartment with fully equipped kitchen overlooking the ocean. We got a very small one room crammed space. A queen sized bed which was 10 steps from the door, a dorm size fridge and small microwave on a table, 1 chair in the corner close to the bed, a rod to hang your clothes. No toiletries, towels or anything. When we inquired about the fully equipped kitchen they took us downstairs to an area that had……

“Carolyn went above and beyond any host we’ve ever stayed with - she gave us bananas and mangos, a ride to lunch, and even helped us retrieve something we left behind. AC was great, affordable prices, rooms were clean, she is so sweet, and communication was perfect. I will definitely stay there next time I’m in Belize city.”
