It was a bit hard to find initially as the signage was high up and couldn’t see from the car. Once inside, lovely and food very good.

Don’t like it!!!
Toooo old … rooms are dirty, need a renovation. Booked hotel only because of sauna , but it should be reserved , when came there was fully booked. Really disappointed… no one hotel required a sauna reservation. Only one good thing close to train station. No restaurants near available. Only a kebab and expensive hotel restaurant. Stuff are not friendly. Not recommend

The rooms were spacious and nice. The breakfast was very good. The staff working breakfast was nice. The women working the front desk however were quite unpleasant. There was a gentleman working the desk who was helpful and kind. This property is very close to the train station which makes traffic a bit of a challenge but is walkable. It’s a bit far from the main tourist areas of Colmar.

A few steps to train station
This hotel was a bit further than anticipated to the town center, but it was super close to the train station. I was worried about the "part of town" given the proximity to the train station, but I should not have worried. It was a cute room and the front desk was very helpful during check in and the wifi worked well. The area surrounding was quiet, but clean and while I didn't walk around much at night, it didn't feel unsafe at any point when traveling as two women.

Pleasant hotel with restaurant.
A pleasant hotel with a restaurant near the railway station. Nice room, with a large comfortable bed and a large modern bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There was a free shuttle bus outside the station which went to the old town every 15 minutes. There was a safe in our room, but it wouldn’t look when we’re there.

Alsace Wine Tour
First nights touring the Alsace Wine region. We chose this hotel as it is next to the circular bus connection the main towns is excellent. 10 minute walk to little Venice in Colmar also very convenient.

Not so grand hotel.
Excited to arrive at the grand hotel, but the room was quite tired, very tired, with poor coffee and water, despite getting a suite. The brochure images show the plush new reception and ground floor. Shame they havnt yet invested in the bedrooms.

The room was comfortable, could use more shelf space in bathroom. We reserved parking but it was not convenient. Had to get remote from desk, drive around the block, enter into lot, open garage door, parking underground, very tight quarters. Then had to return remote to front desk. That was only negative.

This hotel was wonderful. The room was large and clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was terrific! I recommend the restaurant for dinner as well!

The location is perfect, just across the street from the train station. Every 15 min a mini Trace bus leaves from the corner of the station to the old town. Ask the front desk for a map of the route. The hotel is old style but classic. The room has high ceiling, spacious, beds are comfortable, the breakfast is very good. Highly recommend if you visit Colmar.

Right across the station. We were trying to find left and right (after asking people ) but only got to realised the hotel was straight where we were when alighted from the train. Perhaps the hotel could put a signboard at the entrance of the hotel or door for easy identification. Hotel room Was quiet even it was just across the station . Breakfast was good . Go early to avoid the breakfast crowd . We walk to the city within 10 mins

We strongly recommend this hotel. It is very clean, the staff are very nice, and it is conveniently located right next to the train station. Also, we used the restaurant’s breakfast buffet which was great!

Nice hotel about 20 mins walk from the old town. We had a junior suite in order to accommodate a third person and lots of luggage, good sized room. Good breakfast

Colmar - Christmas Market Time
Great staff and they were very patient and caring for my needs during a very busy Christmas Market time. Coming to Colmar for business during Christmas Market was probably not the best timing, but the staff made it work for me. Will stay again next visit

The “spa” was terrible! None of the lockers worked. The way to elevator was around the corner. Nobody at the front told me that. Also, the keys for each room didn’t work after the first time. We had to keep going to the front to desk clerk up get our keys redone. Also, the showers are really bad. The floor gets flooded after your shower is completed

Not as good as we expected.
Airco and ventilation were turned off, because of the fall season, we were told. Opening the window made for a lot of street noise. We brought our own fan, which made it bearable. When we asked for a taxi to be called we were advised to walk up to the nearby station to the taxi stand. Right before we left two nights later we found out that there is a free 15 every 15 minute shuttle to the downtown area. At check-in we were not told this, neither did we receive a map of the town. Breakfast was very good.
