Peaceful and wonderful place to relaxPosted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Away from the hustle and bustle of Hilo but close enough to have dinner. Lovely romantic place for couples and families.
Cons: We enjoyed everything. Len and Jane have created paradise in the middle of paradise.
Enjoyed the waterfall and was lulled to sleep every night by the tree frogs. Lovely place that was built by hand with amazing detail and foresight.

Beautiful grounds and private waterfall.Posted Jun 29, 2015
Our first bed and breakfast. Everyone was nice and welcoming. You have to take your shoes off at the door so the floors are much cleaner than anywhere I have stayed. Perfect setting. Great breakfast. Only concern I had when I arrived was no A/C. Never needed it. The room stayed the perfect temp and left the windows open to listen to the waterfall.

Beautiful inn on the fallsPosted Jun 18, 2015
From the second we got there the expeience was everything we hoped for and more. All you can hear at night is the falls and wildlife. It was truly breathtaking. All of the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Not to mention swimming in a water fall was one the the coolest things I have ever experienced. I highly recommend this hotel and this one of a kind expeience.

Wonderful B&BPosted Jun 1, 2015 on Hotels
Our only regret was that we only stayed one night. Fabulous rural country setting about 10 minutes from Hilo. Nice B&B, clean, owners readily available to talk to. Trails, waterfall, hydro electric power. quite unique.

pleasant stayPosted May 12, 2015 on Hotels
We had a pleasant stay at The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls. The rooms and the resort is much much nicer than it looks from the pictures!!! We stayed at the Orchids building - the room was super clean and sophisticated and the communal area was equipped with brita water and coffee/tea. One thing that bothered us - was the bird that sang right outside our window until past midnight, it was really loud but it makes you feel like you're right in the middle of the forest? Oh and the hosts were also really nice too~

Night at the InnPosted May 1, 2015
Pros: The breakfast and the setting of the inn was very relaxing and restful.
Cons: The bed was a little softer than they were used to sleeping on.
Location: Just away from the hubbub of Hilo...a nice change of pace for vacationing.
My son-in-law enjoyed taking pictures of the falls that was viewed from the lanai. A very nice breakfast was served in the morning and eaten on the lanai. The sounds of the falls and the frogs were soothing to sleep by, but the bed was a little softer than used to sleeping on. Very restful place to stay for the night away from the hubbub of Hilo.

Vacationing in the Big Island of HawaiiPosted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Privacy and beautiful setting.
We were visiting Hilo for a couple of days and needed a place to stay. I was in 'ahh' to find such a peaceful, beautiful, and private get-away. The deck where breakfast was served made for an extra bonus to be able to see and enjoy the falls. The food was good, too!
