The rooms are very outdated and need a lot of remodeling. Small bedroom is actually with no windows, because you have to keep it close with wood panels all the time. The cleaning of the room was poor, the furniture, windows and light switches were dirty. The only thing we really liked was the swimming pool. The staff was mostly nice and helpful.

Beautiful setting in a nice location and grounds that are kept immaculate. The rooms are outstanding, with a nice master bedroom and a huge bathroom. Liked the shared barbecue area at each building. The pools were amazing with great options for families with kids and an adults only area. Only negatives would be the overall cleanliness of our room and the lack of restaurants/ bars and eating options on such a huge property. Seemed really ridiculous that nothing is open past 6 pm (not even the hotel bar!) Getting around also posed a bit of a challenge. You need to have a car to get around quickly from place to place, otherwise, be prepared to do a lot of walking.

The staff was amazing and were easy to access via text. The shuttle was nice, but we had a rental car and it was easy to validate parking at the Hilton Waikoloa Resort, so we ended up driving down there. The pool was nice. We were there early and they let us use the pool as they were getting our room ready. Great location - there is a nice market nearby and it's great that the room had a full kitchen.

Great service and beautifully maintained property. The gym was surprisingly well equipped and the pools and hot tub were awesome for kids. Would love to stay here again.

Arrived at 220 pm check in is at 4. Clerk tried to charge me twice for the room when I already paid on Expedia. Clerk took my phone number and said they would text as soon as my room was available. I sat at the bar until 415 pm, then finally asked what the issue was. Surprise! My room was ready!

We loved the salt water hot tub and waterslide. We went when it was not busy and had a great time! A little fumble at check in that they corrected fairly.

It was very quiet for the volume of people around . Pool was great , not crowded . Birds and mongooses on the grounds provided lots of entertainment.

We had an awesome stay. We did not realize how big this resort was. I would definitely stay at Kingsland again. It offers easy parking. And it is nice and quiet where we stayed. And we had access to any other part of the resort. So it allowed us to be away from the main building, where the beach and luau were located. Because there are a lot of people staying at that location. So where we stayed, it was nice and relaxing. They have a shuttle that will take you anywhere within their resort. They have two different shopping malls within the resort. The resort itself, is very big. You are surrounded by a golf course. All of the employees were very pleasant. We stayed 10 days. I did not want to go home! Things are expensive there, but no more than anywhere else in Hawaii. The only time that we were bothered about wanting to sit through a timeshare seminar was when we looked into purchasing tickets to the luau. The tickets were quite expensive, but they did offer, if you would sit through a seminar, you could get them for $39. I said, no thank you. And that was the end of it. No pressure. I would go back to that resort in a heartbeat!

Room cleaning does need improvement. We arrived to find prior guests clothes in bedroom drawer and kids shoes under the main sofa. Attention to detail by cleaning staff lacking.

Nice and clean property. Nearby there is marketplace. Room checkin was late. When I checked with Guest service when room will be ready, she mentioned don’t know and was not courteous. I asked her hour later and she mentioned she forgot to send message to me and was not even sorry about it. Overall, poor customer service.

The staff were great! The facilities are very dirty and dated. It needs a renovation and upgrade. The facilities do not do justice for the staff who works there.
