Stayed just 1 night prior to leaving the island. It was a busy spot due to the upcoming ironman competition. Great location as it is close to shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly. Our partial ocean view faced a roof top and other rooms but if you did turn your head you could see the ocean.
The Sheraton Kona property is a nice place but can use updating. Overall the rooms are okay and comfortable...good accommodation for our 3 nites on that part of the island. However, negatives from our stay: (1) Room smelled of old & wet towels from day one. The humidity didn't help. The smell was ...
My sister and I recently stayed at this hotel. The property, the staff and the amenities were beyond my expectation. The room was clean and the bed is very comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about it.
The hotel is spectacular, the many sites to visit are well kept and the walkways are very clean. There is an Island of Ocean water with all kids of fun. The place is bigger than you can imaging, in other words, there is a 5 star there to contemplate and enjoy while visiting.
there are two shopping centers very close to the hotel. airport is a 30 minute drive and car rental is a must in the big island, hawaii.
Extended our stay from a business meeting and do glad we did. Plenty to choose from! Lounge by pool or beach with excellent service or swim in kings pond.... a must do!!
All the comforts of home, reserved parking space, very nice golf course.
Beautiful plants and grounds. Nice fitness room. Gorgeous pool!!! Bed squeaked. Finally put a towel between headboard and wall and this stopped the noise. Vertical blinds need replacing. Everything else was wonderful. Clean. Very comfortable. Staff helped set up the DVD player. Very prompt. It was ...
This hotel is excellent! The rooms are huge! They have to be around 800 sq ft with two huge bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen) and 2 bathrooms, plus laundry, full kitchen (and the necessary appliances and dishware) plus a huge patio with seating for 6 and a lounge chair. There are 2 pools on property, and ...
Nice resort. Stayed for 11 days. Played 1 round of golf there, greens, etc needed some watering but overall nice and forgiving. Accommodations were good and clean. Cleaning staff came in 2x per week and kept place neat and changed bedding and bathroom needs. The place is very convenient to Waikoloa ...
Nice hotel close to the beach and walks to town. Can swim at the beach if careful for urchins. Very much recommended!
My wife and I stayed at the Lava Pond Lodge for two nights. First off, Regina, our Inn Keeper could not have been more friendly and welcoming. She gave us excellent local tips and advice on visiting Kilauea Volcano and the local area. Her breakfast each morning was a delight thanks to what she provided ...
Beautifully decorated, clean, private. Just a few minutes from volcano. Enjoyed our stay and would choose this place again.
When I booked this condo, I was expecting a small 2 bedroom apartment-like place. I booked this in a rush and hadn't really read details about it. One confusing moment was figuring out where to check-in. It wasn't clear that the check-in office was in one place, and access to the unit was in another. ...
If you want more 'action' then this place is not what you want. My sister and I took our elderly mother in off season so we didn't have to deal with crowds, children, etc. so it was perfect for us. The villas are very nice with fully equipped kitchens and a washer/dryer. Overall, we were very happy ...
We only stayed here one night before moving on to the Hilo side of the island. Awesome view for the beautiful sunset. The location is fantastic for seeing everything in Kona.
