Great Location

Excellent resturants and good bars within walking distance. Close proximity to the Pandora Pond. Comfy bed and the room was really warm and cosy on a freezing cold night. Nice and quiet - no sound coming from the pub next door.

WELL FOR THE MONEY

We just stayed for one night on a holiday. nice clean room. spa kept on turning off. didn't complain as stayed for a night and we used only once.

Lovely room and very comfortable.

Pros: Easy access to restaurants and cafes and the view was lovely.
Cons: We were staying in 1 of the family rooms ( # 48 ) , and thought maybe a heat lamp or air venting system in the bathroom to take away the moisture.
Location: Went to dinner and it was very reasonably priced and delicious.
Staff were very helpful and the room was very nice.

Very tidy and comfortable

Cons: Plumbing
Location: Great Restaurant - very good service and meal
Tap dripped all night - when trying to turn on tap it splashed all over me and the floor. Overall a tidy welcoming hotel...just needs attention to detail sorted!

Waiting for the party

Pros: On the harbour, walking distance to many pubs and food. It had a lift, yeah. Bed really comfortable.
Cons: Decor in bathroom and the way the water flowed to drain. Tiles very slippery when wet.
Location: Coastal walk. Shops, food outlets and pubs.
After a friendly arrival, read all notices put up about noise,security numbers to call, and penalties for making noise after hours we were expecting problems. Nothing, good night sleep.

Nice spot, but......

Check in was fine. The microwave was filthy inside and they came and cleaned it a couple of hours later. The room had a funny smell that seemed to be coming from the curtains, but oher rooms.we passed had the same smell. You have to wash your dishes in the bathroom sink. The soap dispenser didn't work, and when I lifted it out it was filthy underneath, like it is never changed. The view was nice enough, but the place really needs a bit of attention.

Excellent position with view of harbour and boats.

Cons: Honesty particularly with reference to the restaurant being shut at weekends. No hand holds in the bathroom even though it had been stated that I
On arrival I was shown a totally unsuitable room and, as it had been requested that the room be suiitable for an elderly person this was upsetting. We were told nothing else was available for me but then we were directed to another room, much better for an old lady. The write up told of an hotel restaurant. We were told this was not open at weekends. A breakfast in my room had been envisaged and a snack type meal in the evening in the restaurant.

Unfortunate

I wouldn't have given such a mediocre review of it hadn't been for the unfortunate issue I had with the ranch slider door in my room. The gap at the top resulted in a distant whistling noise in the room. Meet result = not the best sleep I've ever had! Other than that, it appeared to be a decent hotel.
