Employees great

Posted Feb 28, 2017
Luckily we discovered one of the employees (breakfast lady) was "on her way out" She is horribly rude and inconsiderate. On morning 1 she refused to make more eggs and hash browns when there was still 1.5 hrs left of breakfast. On morning 2 she refused more food, but luckily her manager was there and rectified the situation. Thank you for a fun wedding crafting weekend.

Convenient and comfortable

Posted Jan 21, 2017 on Hotels
One night stay en-route to CO from MO with three small dogs (at an additional charge of $10 per pet). Welcoming service, nice and comfortable room, good complimentary breakfast. The room fridge needs dialing down because it froze and ruined the food we stored in it overnight. Not the most sound-proof environment, but we'd stay there again.

Thank you for stopping and staying with us. We would love to have you stop and stay again. We are in the process of renovating our rooms with new carpet, furniture and bedding so you will have to stop again in a few months and check it out.

Clean room, friendly staff, poor management

Posted Dec 29, 2016 on Hotels
Very clean hotel, was greeted by friendly staff upon check in. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was a problem! Breakfast is from 6-9 am, at 7:40 am there was no hot food left, no eggs, biscuits, gravy, waffles, sausage, potatoes....nothing. Was told very rudely by older lady that seemed to be management that there would be no more food. Hotel was not extremely busy, $95 a night you would think you could get a hot breakfast

I am really confused with this comment. We are always cooking more food up until closing time. I don't understand we would of been re-filling all of those things. I am truly sorry as yes you are entitled to a Hot Meal. Again I am sorry, and not sure what could of happened.

Room was quiet and clean. Loved that staff and hotel, was pet friendly, very accommodating. The pool and hot tub were clean and fun for my family. Would definitely stay here again on way to visit our daughter in Colorado.

Hotel that accepts dogs

Posted Nov 29, 2016
Pros: Dog walk area was nice. Housekeeping staff was friendly.
Cons: The pillows weren't very good, and the blanket wasn't very warm. I had my own, so that made it tolerable.
Location: This is an upland bird area. There is an IHOP 30 minutes or so away.
I made this reservation thru Expedia, then called the hotel to make sure they noted that we have a dog. She said that I couldn't have the room we wanted (with a kitchenette), because those rooms do not allow dogs. So she told me to get back on and change the reservation to a regular king suite. I told her that we for sure wanted a room with a fridge and microwave, because we would be there on Thanksgiving and very few restaurants would be open. She said "all of our rooms have refrigerators and microwaves". When we arrive, they not only didn't show us with a dog, but the room did not have a microwave. When I went to talk to them about the microwave, she said that it "just broke", and that she didn't have time to go to Hayes to get a new one. She said she couldn't put us in another room, because they didn't have any more dog friendly rooms. The parking lot had 12 cars, at the most. She could have pulled a microwave from another room, or made some effort to get one for the next night. But she didn't. She wasn't even particularly apologetic. That said, the room was okay. The heater wouldn't stay on very long, so it was a little cold. They have a nice dog walk area. The breakfast left a lot to be desired, but the people were friendly.
