I loved the room. The view was amazing! Just wish the cleaning ladies would have knocked on the door before just trying to open it. We were not checked out and they started to come into our room while we were in it.

The room had a nice little kitchen, the bed was very comfortable and there was a beautiful view of the valley below from our window!

Very nice hotel and stay
The room was very nice, clean, well appointed. The bed was comfortable and it was a lovely stay. No breakfast, but that's not a big deal. The highway is close but with the fan on the unit, it helped keep the sound constant for sleeping.

Excellant Stay
Stayed just over a week. Everyone I encountered was very cheerful and helpful. There is no breakfast but they have a small bodega and the prices are reasonable. Free coffee and hot chocolate. The room was clean and spacious. Mattress was not the best, too soft and tended to sink in the middle. Close to shopping and many restaurants. Next time I am in Hazleton, I will choose this hotel.

Worst experience ever!!!
Booked two rooms for a family (2 adults, 3 kids). Got there to check in and was told they were only seeing reservation for one room and was told to contact hotels.com customer service as they cannot do anything about it even after showed them the reservation on the app with the conformation #. The front desk guy extremely rude, confrontational and utterly useless as he refused to help in any other way. While we were reaching out to hotels.com customer service, the manager showed up and told us to leave the premises with our kidds immediately. He commented that we shouldn't have any problem finding accommodations elsewhere at 7:30pm in the night and also told us to try the Hampton Inn close and it might be a bit more expensive. I am not sure how to process the managers comments as we are an interracial couple with kids. Overall the experience took an emotional toll on my family, as we were targeted and embarrassed in front of other patrons. We also noticed that the guy at the front desk was also very rude to the customer who came back to his room after being away at a work site all day to an overflowing toilet. Hotels.com customer service contacted and confirmed with me that indeed there were two rooms under the reservation id/confirmation #, but the front desk guys ineptness and utter lack of any customer service skills ruined our evening. The front desk guy also threatened me by saying "do you know who I am". I will be contacting Candlewood corporate to inform them about it.

This hotel is dirty. Bathroom fan is clogged with dust and dirt. All wall switches are gross and never washed. Requested extra pillow and after waiting an hour after they said they would bring one, I called. They told me they didn’t have one.

WE stayed at this hotel in the past, it was always pleasant, but there has been a drastic change in service and cleaning, our room was not cleaned while we stayed there, it was 2 nights. No breakfast, coffee urn in room had a moldy old coffee pod in it. Toilet seat falling off,light bulbs missing in light fixtures, no complementary bathroom soaps,etc. We were so disappointed over all, I had recomended this hotels to other people, I will be calling them and tell them to stay away from this place. Such a shame.

Picked this hotel because the location was within 4 minutes from a wedding we were attending at 3:30pm. Got to the hotel early around 1:45pm hoping for an early check in. Front desk staff told us to come back at 2:30pm when room would be ready. When we checked back with the front desk the attendant said the room will be ready in ten minutes as the room was going through a quality check. While we waited numerous people checked in with no issues. At 3:00pm there was a staff changed and we asked the new attendant about our room and told her that the previous staff said the room would be ready in ten minutes. Upon checking with her cleaning crew we found out the room hasn’t been cleaned yet and would be ready in 15-20 minutes in which we told the attendant we needed to attend a wedding at 3:30pm. My wife had to touch up her makeup in the public restroom because it appeared we would not be able to check into the room in time. The front desk staff apologized and said they are short staff. At 3:25pm the attendant saw our frustration and gave us the room keys and said we can drop off our luggage at the room. When we got to the room they were still cleaning it. It was a very frustrating experience with the amount of lies the front desk kept telling us. We hardly used the room but to sleep. In terms of the room. The bed mattress sank in and looking under the bed the wood support was broken. We ended up waking early to check out. Worst hotel ever

Upon check in, I was informed that the 2 double bed room that I had reserved was not available. The desk clerk offered me a 1 queen bed. I told her that wasn't going to work for 4 adults. She then offered me a king suite with a pull out couch. At that point I told her that we are done. I said that you cannot put 4 adults in a queen bed and I would not make anyone sleep on a pull out couch. I don't know what good a reservation is if they give your room away and don't have adequate accommodations to fill the reservation.

It was nice experience with Candlewood. Only one complaint for complementary water bottles which they didn’t provide until you sign up for rewards and after that they just provide a tiny water bottle which was not enough. There was 20oz water bottle available for $2.

Unexpected kitchenette!
The view was amazing and the kitchenette an unexpected bonus with a full sized fridge, dishwasher, microwave, counter and sink. LOVED that.

Terrible experience.
I requested a "non-smoking" room for my business trip but was put in a room which was on the smoking floor and in smoking room. The room was disgusting, smelling of an ashtray, and the window couldnt even open for fresh air. When I spoke to the staff, they stated they had no rooms on a different floor for that night and could not move me, and that while the windows could not open, they were at least bullet proof! (Wow! how wonderful for a canadian like me to hear of this!) I was only able to be switched to a new room by 5pm the next day, but when I walked into the room, there was beer in the trash, towels in the shower, and the bed was all messed up. This room was obviously not cleaned. For a two day business trip, my stay here was absolutely abysmal and I will never stay here again.

The property is listed as including breakfast. There are pictures of breakfast offerings in the listing. The moment I checked in, they stated they did not offer breakfast. The room was largely clean but there were some bugs and the tile all over the property and in room was loose and would crunch when you stepped on it. Sheets were clean and bed was comfortable but would pass next time.

Found out this morning that our two double bed rooms wasn't available. Was offered another room near each other. when we checked in, the gal was nice, but rooms were on opposite wings. I know its a 2 star hotel, but I don't like last minute suprises (especially when traveling with Mom). The hotel itself is quite nice. Newly remodeled. very nice rooms.

Candlewood accessibility
We stayed in an accessible roll-in shower room. The shower with ramp for wheelchair users was one of the best we had on our 2 week trip. The only suggestion is the outlet should be by the sink and mirror, not across the room.
