Great place. Son had a lot fun in the pool. Jacuzzi was too hot, many guest complained and agree wit me, was over 103 m. Overall everything else was great. Good size room and great little kitchen.

We stayed at this hotel on the last night of a week long road trip, we stayed in a different hotel each night throughout our vacation. The person who checked us in was extremely rude & did not even say hello. She asked for my ID & credit card, she spent the next few minutes entering my information into the computer & then she just handed me my cards & the room keys without saying a single word. I have never been treated so poorly checking into a hotel. After asking about the pool hours I was rudely told it was closed until further notice, which was a disappointment & that information was not disclosed when I reserved the room on the Hotels.com website. When I tried to cancel my reservation I was told it was non refundable & that the Marriott website stated that the pool was closed. Unfortunately the room was not as clean as I expected it to be either…overall it was a disappointing last night of our vacation

The sprinkler pump room was right next to our bed headboard, and at 1 3 4 and 6 am there was a very loud noise in that room, lasted for 3 to 4 minutes, no way could anyone get sleep 💤!!

The room was noisy, I guess by a boiler;did let the staff know but they said that's what it was. Breakfast was extremely poor choice, not even a plain toast or butter; not to say no cereal for the kids after 8 am. ; found dog food under the pull out couch;staff cleaned it right the way;one of the nights yellow water started coming out of the faucet;staff said they would put a maintenance ticket.

The hotel’s layout was lovely, but there was a faint pet smell from the moment I checked in (which I was later blamed for since I had also brought a pet). The staff was not very friendly, and one woman even was very hostile towards me, saying me bringing my pet (to a pet-friendly hotel) was a problem. Most of the staff did not wear masks and upon being asked, became hostile again. Overall, the room was great, but the staff brought my impression of my stay way down.

Thank you for your feedback, however we are still trying to neutralize the cat urine odor from the room which the guest admitted the cat peed in the carrier. We had several complaints from guests passing in the hall and had to refund points .

Just like home, but better
Our stay started with a wonderful, kind and patient check in despite us getting there at 10:30 pm. The room was phenomenal (as always) but since this was the first time we brought our large-breed dog, I expected there to be some issues -- I was wrong. Not only is this location family friendly, it's fur-baby friendly, too! From the front desk to the cleaning staff, everyone was so very sweet and patient with us and our dog. This hotel goes above and beyond and it shows. Worth EVERY penny.

Horrible Experience
Very Very disappointed, the rooms were dirty .They even moved me to another room which was not that much cleaner/better. Thank God that I had Lysol on my car. I cleaned the entire bathroom and kitchen myself. When i told the guy that registered about this he told us they are short staff and only have 2 housekeepers for the entire hotel. This is unacceptable especially with this Covid-19 stuff. I am a registered Nurse who came to help patients and this experience is shocking. In addition, i told the manager in the morning 4/24 and all he could say was sorry and he will recheck the rooms. How does that help me rechecking the rooms , all rooms should be check prior to putting customers in them. Hair in the shower, dirty dishes in cabinets,Refrigerator dirty and tables dirty and popcorn on the carpet that should of been clean up ....did even vacuum the floor...Just a horrible experience....i won't be back...I useto love the Marriot.

If you need a room in Hazelton area, you MUST stay
This is by far the best hotel (for the price) that I have ever stayed in! The staff, rooms, amenities are amazing and I can't believe what a perfect hotel/room I stayed in for the week was located in such a remote area.

I liked the continental breakfast the most and that the facility was clean and the people were friendly. I also liked the indoor swimming pool and sauna for me to spend some time relaxing after a hardship day work.

Thanks for your review Jay. One of the great amenities of the Residence Inn is the complimentary reception held Monday-Wednesday night where we serve light meals and beverages to all guests. Hopefully on a return trip you will be able to enjoy this amenity. Most restaurants are in a 2 mile radius of the hotel. Please keep in mind, our friendly staff is on hand to provide you with dinner recommendations , as well as options for delivery service so you don't have to leave your suite.
