The hotel was okay

Posted Aug 11, 2016
The beds were comfortable enough. The room was clean except for the carpet which was really dirty. Breakfast was standard fare. I checked the website for "pet friendly" and is said $10, but when I arrived they charged me $15. The worst thing is that my adult son went out for some air around 11PM and was accosted and threatened by one of the other guests.

Hi, I'm very sorry to hear about the incident that took place with your son. You definitely should have let the front desk know right away. We would have addressed the situation immediately. I do apologize.

No issues. Room was clean. Rugs need steam cleaning. Large bathrooms.

Nice hotel for the money

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Convenient to College Station (30 minute drive) and I felt safe there.
Cons: Bed linens/bedspreads seemed old.
Location: Close to College Station and all central Texas has to offer.
The staff were all very nice and efficient. My room was sort of musty, but it wasn't bad after I had the air conditioning going for a while. The bathroom area was very nice. Small closet area. The room had a mini-fridge, microwave and sofa. The bed linens could use an upgrade. I was traveling alone and coming home at night and I felt very safe. I would recommend this hotel. It's about 30 minutes from College Station, which is where my events were. It's not a bad drive at all.

Wonderful hotel in such a small city

Posted May 11, 2015
The staff was wonderful from the concierge to housekeeping. Someone reserved an extra room under my name (once I showed proof of my only reservation), the hotel management didn't charge me for that room.

Courteous and helpful staff; dirty carpet

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Hotel staff was extremely courteous and helpful, but the room had a musty odor, carpet was old and very dirty. The bedspreads were old and outdated, and I'm pretty sure are not washed after each guest. Mattresses were comfortable and bathroom was clean. If they updated to washable comforters/duvets and cleaned or replaced the carpet, this would be a nice place to stay. Definitely not worth the $150 night they charged for Parent's weekend at Texas A&M.

One overnight stay. The beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Continental Breakfast was just that. If you eat a big breakfast then this won't do it for you. Overall a good stay and much cheaper than staying in College Station.

Older hotel, but nice

Posted Feb 3, 2015
Friendly staff. Not much of a continental breakfast though. Room was nice, but facility you can tell is older.

Pros: Continental breakfast, fridge in the room, plenty of counter space, and plenty of parking spaces.
Cons: Could have had 4 bath towels in the King rooms. Have continental breakfast end at 9:30 or 10:00 instead of 9:00 on the weekends.
Traveled with two 17 year old girls on a college visit. All the hotels were booked for the weekend. This was the only one closest (30 minutes) at a reasonable price. When we arrived the staff was friendly and helpful. I had to request sheets for the pull out sofa bed. When the maid came to clean the room, the girls weren't ready so she said she would come back later. She asked that we leave the curtain window open as a sign to come clean the room. We were by the vending and ice machine, we didn't hear anyone using them.
