They removed an ice machine a few years ago that wasn't working and it hasn't been replaced. They do have one that is working, but it's in the other building. They're still having connectivity problems in the office. Paperwork could not be generated at check-in.
Nicely done motel room with fridge, microwave, coffee setup, comfortable beds. Breakfast is included, restaurant also across parking lot. Would stay here again.
I liked convenience to waking in the village streets and to shops / dinners .
I did not like the upstair steps , narrow old wood stairs , narrow passage , hard to go up
When we got there, I pull the sheet back to spray the bed down and the sheet had blood on it. Call to the front desk and she came and change the bed. She stated whoever made that bed had to see it. She was very apologetic about it. I was not happy at all and I felt that I should’ve paid the full price for the room. This was very unacceptable.
It was a great place to rest and the staff was excellent!

The people at the front desk were nice enough. I decided to stay twice and ended up with two different hotel rooms. The beds were clean, but the bed side tables were both sticky and gross. I had to clean myself. I just think some more cleaning would be good.
Upon checking in the lady was very short and snappy. Stating that I was lucky I prepaid for the room because there was a town fall festival that weekend and she sells out every night. I asked if she recommended anything we should do or see and she stated there was a lot and I should just look it up or have looked it up before I drove up there. Well that was the start. The pictures on Expedia DO NOT give an accurate description of the hotel. What you see are only the rooms attached to the check in and breakfast area. The rest is a motel style set up facing the back of a restaurant. You can barely see the views if you get stuck in one of these rooms. The parking spots are directly in front of each door so if you get stuck next to people who are up late, have loud vehicles or smoke you will hear everything. Yes it may be out of their control to some degree nevertheless it’s an inconvenience. You’ll even hear a lot of from the restaurant as well. The room was not inspected or cleaned properly. The microwave had a thick layer of sticky goop. The next day I asked for it to be cleaned. Housekeeping came left towels and made the bed. Microwave still disgusting. Had to find housekeeping and ask them to clean it myself. Ceiling tiles lifted in a lot of areas and gaps in the outlets. Curtains don’t close all the way allowing for people walking by to see inside the room. Vending machine broken and no ice machine in the building we were in.

Hi Maria - I am so sorry you had this experience! The cleanliness issue is a constant stress to my team. It's a daily converation, and I've been seeing a lot of progress lately. It's always a joke in hospitality that things will only break on the weekends. That's the case with the vending machine. We do have vending available at the desk at all times. Yes, exterior hotels can be loud. Sometimes our guests don't realize what type of room they booked - especially if they're just looking for the best rate available. Goodness, I would have loved to hae told you about all the fall festivities! I'll address this with this person today. I'm so sorry you felt unwelcome from that. I do hope you choose to stay with us again next time, I'll be glad to upgrade you on the house.
Stay was great except for housekeeping banging on the door at bed time to offer towels that we already had and again at 9 am for a cleaning when we were only staying one night and checkout was at 11 am.
Not the worst,but the door had a quarter inch crack at the bottom letting a draft in all night.

Very well maintained. Check in was a breeze and the staff was friendly. My only issue was that i had booked two rooms and requested adjoining rooms. They were beside each other, but not adjoining.
Wi-fi not working. Room smelled musty. Rugs filthy. Bathroom floor filthy. Was put in a 1st floor room surrounded by extremely noisy and inconsiderate construction workers and had to turn tv on with volume up loud just to drown out noise outside until after midnight!!! Breakfast terrible, rubbery eggs, rotten oranges. I would never stay at this establishment again!
