GREAT Bed and Breakfast!!Posted Jul 27, 2015
I will definitely be staying here again!! The fiancée and I were looking to getaway for the weekend and this bed and breakfast came up on my search. It was definitely the best choice we could have made!! A clean room, great service, and a fresh breakfast each morning! The gentleman running the place gives you that at home feel!!

Great Room and BreakfastPosted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Convenient to town for shopping.
Cons: Room was not serviced our last full day so there was no coffee or coffee cups our last morning there.
Location: Location is great.
We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious every day.

Nice suite close to downtown.Posted Jul 20, 2015
We had a very enjoyable stay in the European Garden Suite. The accommodations were very clean, and the breakfasts were delicious. We would stay there again in a skinny minute.

Right on main street of Helen. Perfect location.Posted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: Location. breakfast was wonderful. Pretty waterfall in back where you could have breakfast outdoors! Unique rooms.
Cons: Fit and finish needs work. Room cleaning. Vent in bathroom appears to not have been cleaned in a year! Stair rail missing.
Location: Property was easy to find on main street. Delightful walk to everything in Alpine Helen.
Property has huge for sale sign in front. Owner wants to sell and appears to be spending very little money on upkeep.

Over-priced, Not LuxuryPosted Apr 28, 2015 on Hotels
Room was too small and bedspreads and other decor needed refurbishing. Room had a red heart shape hot tub, but given the size of the room it was not a welcomed addition. Adding a closet (that's right the room had no closet) instead of the hot tub would have better served most guests. The free breakfast could have been better (e.g. no eggs offered), and should have started earlier (8:30AM start is too late for many). Despite name, there was nothing luxurious about this room or hotel, and they are over-charging. As a consolation the people managing the place were nice.

Great room w/king size bed, fireplace, and hottub.Posted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: It was clean, well kept, quite, and near down town and included a great free breakfast, TV, and free internet service.
Cons: It was a little on the expensive side.
Location: Well within walking distance to 4 blocks of many shopping stores of various kinds. We went to dinner about 30 minutes early and had no waiting.
Stayed in the upstairs Euopean suite with king size bed, fire place, kitenette, and red heart shaped hot tub. Only 12 steps to climb which was not bad at all. Very quite and cozy. Very clean and had clean set of towels and bed made each morning while we were enjoying a free breakfast. Located on north end of town right across from a general store and church. Church had bell ringing each hour but we did not hear while inside. The heart of Helen was really only 4 blocks long and we enjoyed the weather and walked thru town and shoped the two days we were there. We also walked to the resturants which were on the south end of town just off of the main street. Enjoyed one night in the red hot tub; it was very relaxing. We enjoyed very much and would very much like to go again; especially if we could get the same room.

20 yr Anniversary get awayPosted Nov 12, 2014
We loved it! The town is adorable, kinda downtown Disney with a German theme. Our cabin was awesome, the stairs are definitely something to consider but worth the climb! We had never tried a b&b so we didn't know what to expect for breakfast. It's a this is it type of service but the food was excellent. We were very happy and relaxed when we left!

Ro on was cluttered with decorPosted Oct 14, 2014
The room was covered every square inch with decor including all the walls having something painted on them. Just too much stuff . Needs updated and take out the heart shaped red tubs to made the bathroom more manageable. Carpet is old and ugly. The fire place was nice and breakfast was good. But the room was not worth the price.
