It an old property, the rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Could use some TLC on the outside of the property and building. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

Reasonable rates, clean rooms, friendly staff and adequate continental breakfast. The rooms could use an update, mattress not very comfortable and the low toilets are hard on older adults.

The lobby and view is amazing! It appears they are in the process updating rooms, rooms were clean and comfy! We walked to the concert venue! Excellent stay!

We loved the personality of the property. Nice, big fireplace. It was still decorated for Christmas, which was beautiful. Great walking distance of the fairgrounds.

This property was perfect to attend a concert at the Anderson Music Hall in Hiwassee. The room was fine with new fluffy towels. Our room had a view of Lake Chatuge which was lovely. We walked to the concert. I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Stay
Great, cozy stay. Balconies overlooking the lake were breathtaking. The rooms were a little outdated and the were crumbs under the bed from previous occupants.

The lobby looked like a Christmas card when we walked in. The property is a little old fashioned so it’s spacious but not fancy. The staff was top notch!

This was a one-night stay for us, so my experience is limited. However, I would recommend the Lake Chatugue Lodge to anyone looking for a low-key but clean and friendly location. It is not luxurious, but the scenery is beautiful and the staff is very helpful.

We enjoyed the balcony and the view from it. Wish we had discovered this place 3 years ago. Have a daughter at Young Harris College and have been commuting from Blairsville when not camping. This facility has some age on it, but it has been treated well and is as clean as its age will allow, in my opinion. Very nice location!

Amazing View from Room
When we walked into the lobby, the view of this beautiful lake with mountains behind it takes your breath away. The desk agent, Sherry, made check in a breeze. Our room with a Lake View was worth the extra charge. We absolutely loved out stay here.

The property was located on the water and had a beautiful outdoor area to sit and relax. The inside was decorated with wildlife and had a fire which made it very cozy, Would recommend.
