So nasty and gross.

Posted Oct 24, 2016
The room was gross. Two double beds with nasty 30 year old bedspreads. The bathroom was moldy and smelled like a septic tank. The toilet clogged the first time it was flushed. We felt dirty even after a shower. We slept in our clothes for fear of getting bedbugs. Not even an electric plug in in the bathroom. Absolutely NO amenities provided in this motel. The "window" air-conditioning/heater was a joke. We froze the entire night because it kept switching to cold air instead of heat. This room was over $100.00 a night. I would NEVER stay there again even if it was free or they paid me to stay. I do not recommend ANYONE staying at this Motel until it is cleaned, sprayed for bugs and updated to this century.

Not a great location

Very old place. I actually was handed a real key to the room lol. The room was clean but had a funky smell.

Nice Place To Stay

Posted May 24, 2016 on Hotels
Me and my 9 year old daughter were planning a trip to visit Tallulah Falls. This inn was about 12 miles north of the State Park. Best deal for the area. I was skeptical with it being an older property. Wow...was I surprised. Everything beat my expectations. This property is very well maintained. Quiet. No rowdy guests. Comfortable beds. Very clean room. Carpet looked new. Big flat screen TV with lots of channels...my daughter appreciated The Disney Channel. Bathroom small and very retro but clean. Bottom line. If you got a picky spouse that is going to make your life miserable because you wanted to save a buck by not staying in a brand name hotel then do yourself a favor. Shell out the extra $100 a night and stay somewhere else . If you don't have that problem like myself...stay here and keep that extra $100 where it belongs.

Older Property With Some Updates

Posted May 24, 2015 on Hotels
Older property with some updates like a fridge, microwave and flat screen TV. Clean and functional rooms but had an overpowering musty smell. And no counter space in older style bathroom. No breakfast bar either.
