I brought my daughter here for a fun trip- beautiful location! However, the first night it rained, and our ceiling was leaking water onto one of the beds. I tried calling the front office but no one answered. When I went to the front desk in the morning, he was not surprised and said he hears it all the time. So, I asked for another blanket to be brought since the one for that bed had water stains. When we got back to the room later that evening, there was a thin blanket left and the stained one was still on the bed. I tried calling the front again, but eventually just gave up. Also, do not pay the $17 per person for breakfast. The food is decent at best and the setup was sorely lacking. Dirty coffee mugs, plates no where near the food, and the man didn’t know if the coffee was regular or decaf but gave it his best guess. I really wanted to like it here, but it was just alright.

The lodge is amazing. The scenery was beautiful. The employees were very friendly. Breakfast was overpriced and not that good. When we got to our room the heat had not been turned on and it was freezing. The bathroom has no heat and was absolutely freezing the second that you turned off the shower. Not enough towels.

The rooms were fine- one of the beds the mattress slopes and needs replaced. We went to the dining room for breakfast at 9am. Buffet was only option- $16 per person. It needed replenished and the food was cold. The coffee wasn't very good either. My brother said he got better food in the mess hall in Iraq! Very disappointing. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay for the most part- just the dining room. We ate the rest of our meals in Helen and Cleveland.

Great view, updated room with all the comforts. Microwave in common area with wonderful seating indoor and outdoors also thru out the Lodge and all the buildings. Top notch breakfast included with eggs bacon sausage biscuits gravy melons fruits and all the breads all with great views and enormous seating areas. There is a small walk from parking to the 4 lodges but all are accessible with out steps.

Very happy with our stay!!
We really enjoyed our stay here, it was clean and staff was very friendly. The down side for me was I couldn't have my dogs with me but I understand that is just their policy. Next time we are staying in the pet friendly cabins they have and hopefully have the same great experience.

My husband and I went for three days and had a wonderful time. Very close to Helen. We went on 2 hikes and saw Ana Ruby falls which is also close. The hotel is very clean and everyone is very friendly. There is water and fruits in the lobby. Breakfast is not included but the prices at the restaurant are reasonable and it was delicious. I would recommend.

This place is exceptionally clean and decorated nicely. Most of the staff is polite. Lots of walking trails. I hated that the dinning room was not open. We had to eat in the TAVERN, the food was just ok and they were out of a lot of things. There's not a lot of options for food in the area, outside of Helen and Helen wasn't conveinient...traffic. Also, I wanted coffee and there wasn't any complimentary in the lobby, just the 4 cup maker in the room. That is not enough. The firepit is nice, just couldn't get to it because of other guest. They have nice swings in various places, but all the good outside views are blocked with buildings. They need more balconies and swings with views.

Property was nice and staff was nice and friendly. Food service was terrible. The restaurant was closed but not the website marketed it as open. Food service was Slooooooow! Once the food came it was good but it took about 45 minutes to get served in their tavern for dinner. The breakfast the next morning was a joke. There was no coffee no bacon no eggs on the buffet. It took 30minutes to get served coffee and just as long to get any food.

Great place with beautiful views
The location is perfect if you enjoy the nature. It looks great around fall/winter season. There is a fire pit outside the building which is perfect for hanging out and staying warm. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Each building has a lounge area on the first floor and it is very welcoming. I highly recommend this place for anyone, whether you want to bring your family or just a small get away for the weekend with your loved one.

Four out of five stars.
Check-in was good. I didn’t realize my room was on the 2nd floor, so I asked if they had an elevator because my disabled mother couldn’t do stairs. They only have an elevator in the main building. So the hostess looked to see if there were any ground floor rooms available and there were. She changed it for me no problem. The room was in good condition, we did have to ask for additional coffee and toilet paper for the room. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet two times. The food was good and stocked. We wish they had more tea options, but that’s just nitpicking on our end. Service was super friendly and helpful. The shuttle to Helen didn’t start running until 1pm due to under staffing, so we just took our car. Had to pay for parking. When we returned, our keys didn’t work. Found out they only set us for one day but adding the night was quick and painless. We noticed our room was not serviced overnight so we had to ask for additional towels. Check-out was super easy. Everyone was very friendly and willing to help. Overall it was four out of five stars.

I had a great stay here...the only thing that I might be concerned with as I grow older is that there is not an elevator in the properties where rooms are.

Our lodge buildings have two floors with an equal number of rooms on both the ground floor and the 2nd floor. Everything was great but a couple of just oddball items were to be prepared to walk a good distance between the car and room(not a biggie at all just not like a normal hotel) and the other thing was the bathroom door was only a sliding barndoor. Looked awesome but I'd prefer a lock, especially with small kids. Views were awesome!
