Nice motel in good location to downtown city cente

Our second time staying at this motel. It has everything you need in the room, very well thought-out. Breakfast is awesome and included in the price. I would recommend to anyone who wants this location to the Capital/city center area.

Hotel looks dated but is still clean and tidy

Hotel looks dated but is clean and tidy staff were very friendly and helpful The resteraunt has a choice of foods on the menue my steak was a little over cooked for med well but was nice The bar was cheap and friendly met some new friends

This is my 3rd time to stay this hotel. I didn't have any complaint with this budget for last two times. For this visit, we were very disappointed. Non smoking room still smells stinky smoking. Not cleaned. Old pillow cover was still on our bed. Also, they asked me to provide credit card for security deposit, withdrew $50. I called them after coming back home, receptionist was very unkind and hung up the phone when I was about to ask a question. Seems like this hotel quality has been getting worse. Only good thing is they provided free meal. Other than that, nothing pros I can see. I will be coming back to Helena next year, I am not going to stay this hotel any more.

I am very sorry you did not enjoy your stay. Hopefully, you spoke with our front desk with your concerns. Would you be kind enough to let me know what room you were in so I may follow up on your smoking smell issues. Occasionally, a guest will smoke in a non-smoking room and we apply special cleaning to these rooms. Our budget building has all outside entrances (as you know) and people do smoke outside.We try very hard to assist our guests. It is policy for hotels to require a credit card at check in and it is authorized. The money is not actually charged. At check out this authorization is released. If you have issues with this you can contact your bank for details on how long their process takes. We are in the process of remodeling both buildings and are working hard on improvement. I would be happy to speak with you at anytime if you wish to comment further.
