Easy access

This hotel can we accessed easily from the Interstate and is close to many restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. We had an issue with a running toilet, but the staff took care of the problem promptly. Our stay was for two nights and we found it quiet and comfortable.

Only reason to stay here is price. Lots of places in Helena, shop around, nothing distinctive about this hotel, older rooms, old TV, microwave slightly larger than a glove box, just a cheap place to sleep.

Easy check in by a friendly staff. Quiet location. Hotel however is on a one way street which makes accessing it a little harder.

Worst Shilo ever.

Pros: Seeing it get smaller in my rear view mirror early the next morning.
Cons: Making it a parking lot for the hotel next door.
I've stayed in nice Shilo's. Picked this hotel because it was a Shilo. This was very different. Run down, wore out room. Smelly. Saggy mattresses, cigarette burns (3) at least in one comforter, one in chair. Thin walls, view of a mattress on street out back. NO room for breakfast, no chair, no table. And you had to walk outside the hotel into the closet size office to get it. Would have been nice to at least have a banana. Every hotel in Helena shined next to this one. Disaster.

It's not worth the price

Pros: Location
Cons: Cleaningless - the smell is disgusting. A complete uplift is necessary, everything is old and noisy.
Very old building, low ceiling, noisy air conditioning, smells like dust. Breakfast looked OK, but you have to stand in the reception because there are no tables. I just decided to have breakfast somewhere else. You can do way better for that price.

Pros: Good location
Cons: Girl at registration desk could have been more helpful.
Location: Good location for sight-seeing.
We did arrive a little earlier, and the girls at the front desk were very helpful, and very nice. She did say the next day there would be a breakfast in the lobby, cereal, toast, coffee, and you could make a waffle. Just the basics but that's all right. In the morning we went in for breakfast and there was no cereal or bread for toast. There were some bagels, and you could always make a waffle. The lady at the registration desk was less than helpful, every sentence was 2 words long, and she did let us know there was yogurt in the fridge there.

good over night stay

room and service was clean and friendly. Would stay again. Only down side was the spa "hot " tub was luke warm and not hot after 1-2 minutes started to get chilled.

Traveling pit stop for sleep

Staff were not very friendly. Didn't greet us as we came in to check in. Then couldn't figure out how to accept the payment through our booking on Expedia. Made us stand there for half an hour while trying to figure it out. Meanwhile we are exhausted from traveling for over 12 hours. Rooms are dingy and old. But we got our nights rest and left the next day without any plans to ever stay there again.

They Gave my Room Away!

Location: N/A
I reserved a room through Expedia with Credit Card. When I could see I was going to arrive later than I expected I called to let them know I'd be in late. I was told they didn't a reservation for me. When I arrived in town I went straight to the hotel and showed them my Expedia reservation number. It's now 10:30 at night and they said they didn't have any rooms available and never had a reservation for me. 5 hotels later I found a room by then it was almost midnight! Who's to blame here, the hotel in question or Expedia??

dirty everything, old everything, tv from 80s was broke. ac was plugged, bad bad bad never again.bed was horrible just bad.
