"Great Stay!"
Initially I checked into the hotel for 2 nights and decided to extend my stay for a couple of more days. The hotel is very quiet, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. I felt like I was at home.

"Pleasant no problems stay"
The hotel is very well situated next to Penn station subway a few blocks from Times Square and Macys with a great view of the Empire State from the corner. Tick Tock diner is attached. Our stay was from 20th to 25th November. Our room was on 37th floor with a great view overlooking the Hudson river. The room was twin bed and although not large it was clean and adequate. The beds were very comfortable. Heating and air conditioning worked well. Bathroom was well equipped and the plumbing was excellent (particularly for an older hotel). Electrical socket in the room was a little loose but charged all of our tech without problem. Room safe situated in a darkish cupboard /wardrobe worked well. There was no minibar. Several lifts to the floor were fast and always available. Maid service was courteous and efficient. Staff in the hotel were pleasant and helpful. An extra charge of $25 a day for facilities like the gym and business functions was not appreciated but some folk may want them. There was also a $2 charge for use of the bag room which is petty and I think Wyndhams should reconsider. All in all we were very pleased with our stay at this iconic hotel
