Convenient, clean, comfortable & convivial!

Posted May 8, 2017
Pros: Friendly, efficient staff; comfortable, warm room with all amenities; superb five-staf breakfast
Cons: Nothing - I found everything perfect
Location: Famous Finnish Design Museum just aroune the corner; lotrs of antique and bric-a-brac shops nearby, plenty of restaurants. Helsinki city centre 5 mins
Quiet, but centrally located small hotel with friendly, efficient staff and all the amenities you would expect from a much grander hotel. Excellent breakfast included in the price with a huge choice to suit all clients and top quality tea. Hotels in Helsinki gnereally are expensive, but the price here is a bargain considering where you are and what you get. Highly recommended - and the bar just down the street is one of the best in town.

Comfortable hotel near the centre of Helsinki

Posted Apr 13, 2017
We had a lovely stay in hotel Anna. The room was quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was very good. I would be happy to stay in this hotel again as it is close to the centre of Helsinki and was good value for money.

Small and dated but clean and good location

Posted Oct 18, 2016
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: If you are used to ultra modern, spacious hotels, this is not it. But it is very comfortable and clean.
Location: In the design district, close to the sea, quieter than downtown Kampi but only a 10 min walk from Esplanadi and Kampi.
Has good breakfast, hairdryer in room, quiet, easy walk to everything, nice staff.

Conveniently adequate

Posted Oct 10, 2016 on Hotels
Helsinki is nice. No old town but lots of art and nature. The hotel is ok. The breakfast is good though there is no decaf coffee. Even though there is an elevator you still have to carry your luggage up a few stairs to get to your room. The bed was ok. The room was small. Some of the staff knew more about the city and were more helpful some were clueless. There is no good public transport from the train station to this hotel. You have to walk or get a cab. Pulling your luggage on those cobblestone or brick sidewalks is a pain.

Nice light room with easy access to centre

Posted Sep 13, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: The friendly atmosphere and personnel, plus good breakfast
Cons: Stated above
Location: Several fascinating shops with design items, and pleasing to look at.
Facilities in room could be improved. eg. rail for clothes turned so all visible, a few more hooks, in bathroom drain further into the shower
