Older hotel, but clean and staff very friendly. It was VERY noisy at night due to some inconsiderate guests and the heat/ac unit in our room was not working properly… stayed very warm and the fan would not run.

Last minute decision to stay overnight and picked this hotel without a lot of research. It was a great room. Staff was great. Price was very reasonable. We will be making this our go to hotel when visiting NC family.

My car broke down close to this hotel and had to be towed to a repair shop. I was stranded with my dog and husband and this hotel was a beacon of hope and comfort!!!! The staff were absolutely amazing and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever been in!! Pet friendly was a big plus!

Rooms were very dirty. Bathroom ceiling had mold, mysterious stains on the walls. Floors had water damage. Didn’t bother to stay. Angela was very nice, helpful and apologetic although it wasn’t her fault! Entire hotel needs to be closed properly renovated and cleaned as I was shown 4 different rooms on 2 different floors and they were ALL equally as nasty!

There was mold on bathroom ceiling and we took a picture of a cockroach that was in bathroom. When we told the person at front desk. No apologies just he would let them know. We should have been given partial refund!!!!

Our stay was OK. There is nothing particularly special about this place. The whole place was rather dingy with numerous visible repair spots in the dry wall and ceiling, both in our room and in the hallways. Our bedroom had a very large water stain in the ceiling. On a more positive note, the bed was comfortable and the floors were clean.

My wife and I couldn’t sleep because of the noisy highway. It was a horrible night, car and trucks sounded so loud all night long. Would not recommend staying there.

The hotel was in a good location next to a lot of restaurants and stores. It was also access to the freeway. The room needed a little updating. The sheets were thin and you could see they were wearing thin. The shower door was not completely on the hinge so it was closing off.

Let me start this review by saying: the hotel had signs that said it was under new management/recently renovated; and I worked for many years in hotels myself, both front desk & housekeeping staff & management positions. I know that because I worked in the industry I tend to look at rooms/properties with a more critical eye, and I also know what a hard process it is to complete a renovation. In the basics, our stay was good. The staff was phenomenal—helpful, courteous, friendly, and responsive. Check in and check out were both seamless and easy. The lobby, breakfast area, and our room were very clean. However, there were signs of “wear and tear” in public areas and our room. In our room, every piece of wooden furniture was nicked, scuffed, dented, etc. The paint on walls and ceiling appeared uneven and patchy. The bed linens were worn, with holes, stains, and bleach marks. The flooring was new, but because of that there was a very strong aroma of “new linoleum” in the hall and in our room. It was also disconcerting to have a room with no carpeting at all, only linoleum tile. The only things that were a problem were the stained sheets and the chemical smell of the flooring, The smell will dissipate over time, I am sure. If it doesn’t, that is a problem. If the rest of the issues are going to be addressed by the end of the renovation, I would stay at this property again. If a second stay had the same issues, I would not consider this hotel to be worthwhile.

The refrigerator is noisy. The other guests are loud coming and going in the hallways at early hours . The place is clean. Expedia was difficult, wrong dates popped up and then had to struggle to get refund. Did not say there would be a non refundable 15 dollar per fee. The staff at hotel very nice, would go again.

I enjoyed my stay and would love to book this hotel again. The bed was a little soft for my liking but I did get the rest I needed. The waffles were delicious. There's no reason not to give five stars.
