The first room had electrical outlets falling out of the wall but was promptly moved when notified the staff about it.

The heater rattled so loud that it was hard to sleep. I told the staff, but it was never addressed.

Thank you for sharing your concerns during your stay with us. I have taken some time and went back over our maintenance logs and I see where there was a report made on 1/14/18 concerning a heater that the fan was loud. I assure you that our maintenance staff has looked into this and made repairs where needed. I am glad that you appreciated the staff and friendliness that they offer. I do agree with you, we have a great group of people who take a lot of pride in their work and how our guests are treated during a stay with us. I do hope that you will stay with us again when in the area and I would like to personally invite you to visit The Bistro while here and enjoy some of the amazing drink specials that Sydne has set up for our guest. BAD SMELL!!!

Pros: Nothing!! I picked it out so I had to hear it!!!
The room smelt musty and the couch needs to go!!!!!!

Phil, thank you, for sharing with us about your stay. We always want to hear from our guest. I do hate to read that you did not have an outstanding experience as we strive to make sure that our guest leaves us with a positive experience. I have left a message for our housekeeping staff to double check on room 201, to make sure that our air freshening ventilation is working properly. We have installed in most rooms a new air conditioning system that kicks on once movement in the room is recognized, with our humidity being around 70% right now it creates a musty smell, therefore, I have asked that our systems be double checked that the programming is set correctly for the weather conditions as this time. We have recently renovated our rooms and will be placing matching furniture in them also. The renovation included the rooms being painted, new carpet installed, new flat screen televisions, new above hotel standard mattresses, and the modern 3 sheet bedding. I have also left a message for the appropriate staff to look into the furniture that is in the room you stayed in. I do hope that you will stay with us again and see that our rooms are well maintained and your first stay was not a typical one. Sincerely Patricia Guest Service

Cynthia, Thank you for sharing with us about your stay at the Ramada Henderson/Evansville. We greatly appreciate our guest and their feedback. The Ramada is located on Hwy 41 in Henderson, KY. We are centrally located with shopping centers, restaurants, convenient stores and some small town shops. Pretty much anything you might need is within walking distance from the Ramada. During our recent renovation, new name brand mattresses were placed in each guest room. Our mattresses are above the hotel standard and very comfy. I hear a lot of our guest talk about what a great night sleep they got on the new mattresses and they would like to have one at home. We have recently added a new amenity to the Ramada Henderson/Evansville for our guest, The Bistro is now open. The Bistro serves our continental breakfast and is has light meals in the evenings, along with a kids menu and a full bar. The Bistro is family friendly and staff are some great people. If you enjoy music, you will love the jukebox or maybe you have hung up your dancing shoes for some darts. The Bistro also has karaoke and they host events for the hotel. During the week and especially on Sunday you will find a ball game being played on the 170-inch screen. The Bistro also offers catering for parties, receptions, or whatever your event might be, from small business meetings to large events ranging from 250 to 400 people, we have what you need with our Event Center and The Bistro. Thank you, Bob, for your review. The current owner purchased the hotel about 2 years ago. In the 2 years, we have been working on all different areas of renovations. When you pull into our parking lot, you’ll see that we have painted the outside of our hotel in a gray and brilliant red paint that is warm and welcoming. Our sidewalks have a chip paint that we have just recently finished. Our lobby welcomes you with a touch of history of the hotel with the beautiful grand staircase that many guests loves to use for pictures, the lobby also has a sitting area where you can enjoy your favorite television show and a cup of premium coffee. Each of our 118 rooms has been updated with new paint, new carpet, flat screen televisions, new mattress, and new modern 3 sheet bedding. Our hotel has been equipped with a RFID locking card system on the interior and exterior of the building along with new lighting in the parking lot. The air purifying system gives the rooms and hallways a fresh, clean air to breathe. We offer non-smoking King and Queen rooms, Smoking King and Queen Rooms, Jacuzzi Rooms, jetted tub rooms, our Governor Suite, and our 2 bedrooms Presidential suite. We have a room that will work for everyone. Our hotel has several nice amenities for our guest to enjoy. We have a fitness center for those who want to keep up with their workout while traveling, or maybe you are here on business, we have a business center for you to work in. Our salt-water pool is a huge favorite as it goes from a shallow end to 8 feet. We are super excited to announce our newest amenity, The Bistro, an on-site restaurant that serves light meals and has a full-service bar. Shower did not work. Told clerk - she didn't even write it down. Just said Oh, we will get someone up there. Floor had not been vacuumed.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate you letting us know about your concerns and bringing them to our attention. In our hotel, rather than writing a note and taking a chance at it being misplaced, we have a texting communication application that we use. I am sure that the clerk sent a message over to the appropriate staff member to look into your concern. The application allows us to enter a brief message, with the room number, it also documents the time and date of the message for us. We have found that this has been a very positive form of communication for us. I do hope that you will stay with us again, and enjoy our newest amenity. We have recently added The Bistro to our hotel and we are over joyed at what all they have brought for our guest. The Bistro serves moderately priced simple meals in a modest setting along with a full stocked bar. The hotels continental breakfast is now being served in The Bistro and their staff makes sure everything is fresh and full. They also offer catering service for events scheduled here at the hotel, they have a great event organizer. nice hotel

stayed one night. slightly outdated. close to casino and eclipse. alot of places to eat close by, it was very, very, very, very nice. needed an ice machine on second floor. this is ridiculous that i have to make this review so very, very, very, very long.

Convenient hotel

I reserved a non smoking room for 2 days but when I arrived they had me in a smoking room and I had to reregister for the second nights stay. The room smelled bad. The cable box was unplugged and when I moved the dresser to plug it in there was dust and dirt. The sheets were wrinkled and the room was dated. The lampshades were crooked. The curtains were torn. It was just bad. The girl at the counter was pleasant and as helpful as she could be.

We have recently updated our cable services by adding more channels for our guest to enjoy. The process has required new boxes to be placed in each room, I have asked that our maintenance staff double check all the boxes to make sure they have been installed and working properly. We have recently opened a restaurant inside of the hotel. The bistro offers amazingly good, light meals and has a fully stocked bar. The Bistro is a family friendly place and also has a kids menu. If you enjoy football, you'll love watching it on the 170-inch display or maybe you'll prefer to grab a stool and have a cold beer at the beautiful hand-painted bar. In the past 2 years, our owners have been making a lot of changes and updates. Guest rooms have received fresh paint, new carpet, modern 3 sheet bedding, flat screen TVs, new mattress, microwaves, and refrigerators. Our reconstruction has included an air purifier system that leaves the rooms and halls with a fresh air feeling and smell. Security for our guest is also important to us, we have installed RFID technology locks on all interior and exterior doors, along with surveillance cameras throughout the property.
