Creative place to stay in Kenting
Creative & aesthetically beautiful 'hotel' that faces the Pacific Ocean. We could easily cross the quiet road and spend our morning & evening time exploring the rocky beach. Walk about 100 metres to the right of the hotel and there is a nice private strip of sandy beach with hermit crabs. The hotel kitchen is under renovation as the staff claimed, so there was no hot meals (except finger food) available for lunch & dinner. The nearest restaurant is at least a 10 - 15 minutes drive away. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast served were adequate and healthy options of fruits, grain bread & eggs. We had 3 rooms - 2 quads and 1 double. The 1970 quad room has a loft and a living room with TV. Space is adequate for a family of 4. However, the 1940 quad room was a little cramp for 4 as there was not enough space for opening 4 mid-sized luggage. The 1920 double room was just nice for 2, though the toilet bowl is truly made for people who are lean or small-framed. For those who prefer spacious rooms, this 'hotel' may not be a good choice. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with beautiful view of sunrise and the Pacific Ocean.
Pros: The location & its large lawn area.
Cons: More meal options
