Okay for the price and location
Ok for the price. Good location if you just want to get to the ferry next morning. Cute balcony. Would have been nice to habe wifi in the room (was only available in the lobby). Planes are very noisy at night so be sure to use earplugs.

La habitación economica es terrible. No se cómo estarán las de mas precio. Pero yo cuando alquilo una habitación porcel precio es porque el precio es bajo no para que esté sucia. el suelo estaba sucisimo,como de no haberlo limpiado en mucho tiempo ( puedo enviar fotos). Se nos ocurrió juntar las dos camas y allí salió de todo. Las cortinas del cuarto de baño sucuas,con moho y con miedo a coger hongos. Nada más entrar en la mitad no menos de 6 mosquitos se alegrararon de nuestra visita. El ruido de los sviones es muy fuerte pero nos lo esperábamos por la cercanía del aeropuerto. La señorade recepción tampoco es muy agradable

Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else. The bed feels like you’re sleeping on a wood board. You won’t sleep.

A comfy place for one night. Albeit the proximity to the airport left recurring noise from the take-off aircraft, even drowning-out music or headphones. It made sleeping difficult. Bed was comfy and room had a lot of vertical space to enjoy. The bathroom and shower was average, clean but nothing to write home about. A good hotel for a spot to sleep and spend the rest of your time elsewhere in Heraklion.

Much nicer than I expected based on the reviews. There was a language barrier with the hotel owners and I, but the room itself was nice (had wi-fi, warm shower, AC) and was a warm welcome when I came back from long days on Crete. Very good for a couple or a solo traveler! I would stay again because the price was right.

To start Expedia didn’t let me reserve anything other than a double bed, there were three of us. I selected that option, but made a note that there would be three of us. I go to check in the guy is serious and a bit rude. He kept talking about how I reserved incorrectly. There was no issue in fixing the room, he just kept complaining about how I messed up (I had no other option when reserving). Takes us to the room it’s decent, but floor was dirty, my feet were black from the lack of cleaning (after I had showered). One of the towels we were given had a huge hole in it. Elevator starts on the first floor (not ground floor). When we checked out we had to carry our luggage down 3 flights of stairs because the elevator was broken.

Reasonably close to the port (10-15 minutes walk). WiFi connection was good. About a 20 minute walk from old Venetian area. The hotel provided a room. Nothing spectacular, nothing bad. For my stay it served the purpose of being near the port.

Cheap option but no comfort
We had an early morning ferry and decided to stay here. The hotel is old and doesn't smell good. The service was nice - as expected, easy to check in. The room was clean but very old. It's okay for a cheap option and a one night layover. Otherwise for more time find a better option. Also the near is far from the centre of Heraklion

Decent for one night
The hotel rooms need renovation-modernisation, but other than that it was an affordable, decent stay, with no bad surprises. Being close to the bus station and the port, it is a nice choice for an overnight stay, for those who are happy with just the basics (a bed, peace and quiet, an air-conditioner, a toilet-washbasin-shower and a simple TV). I would choose it again in case I need to stay overnight somewhere in Heraklion again.

Good Value
The hotel attendant (owner?) Allowed us to stay an extra hour when we had issues getting our rental car, so I'm hesitant to leave a bad review.... But he was very unfriendly to us in general both days we were there. The neighborhood, however, felt safe and the room was clean and much larger than expected. Good value for the price! Just don't expect much for hospitality.

OK hotel between airport and bus station.
The room was clean and comfortable enough and the staff pleasant. But I'd tried contacting them with a query 3 times through Expedia and 3 times by direct email - never got a response at all. And sadly the hotel is right under the takeoff path from the airport - with a huge number of flights taking off until half past midnight and starting again at 8am. But that's not the hotel's fault!

Cheap overnighter in Heraklion
It was a cheap and cheerful couple of overnight stays before and after travelling to Naxos by ferry. The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff friendly. The room was large with a balcony on two sides. It is directly under the flight path from the airport in an otherwise quiet residential area. The big advantage for us was it was within easy walking distance of the Ferry port and the central bus station with a service bus link to the airport which is why we picked it. It would also be ideal for anybody wishing to spend a couple of nights in Heraklion.

Nice and tidy - Staff were a bit unwelcoming
The hotel itself is ok, rooms are clean and tidy if a little dated. Facilities are good, there is a TV in the room, an AC and a small fridge. Hot water was plenty. Check-in process was straightforward - you pay in advance for the booking so check out is even faster. They just need to be a bit more welcoming.

The room was great for the price. Inexpensive, no thrills, a clean room and a decent bed. Left Heraklion the following morning using the Ferry Terminal. It was only a 7 minute walk and all down hill.

Overall very good
Great reception staff, very welcoming after a 20 minute walk from the ferry. Bed and room comfortable, shower worked well as did the ferry essential WiFi. Yes, on the flight path so expect noise but it didn't bother me. Only a few minutes to number 1 bus route to the airport, shops and local facilities. Good value.

Not a very nice stay, firstly they did not have a record of our booking and it took a while to get a room. Also the beds were extremely lumpy and uncomfortable and you could clearly see the mattress through the translucent bed sheet. The bathroom was actually clean and in good order, which was lucky. The location is in a rough area though and while It is near the port (15 minute walk to the ferries) it would probably be worth going to a better area to stay (even if it's for one night). Unfortunately the area didn't feel safe

Not worth to spend even a single night.
I was there only for one night, was heading to Chania early morning. Hotel Location was fine, close to Heraklion port. Nightmare started when I entered the room. First of all there was no electricity in the room, staff fixed the issue after I complained. Room decor was pathetic, furniture was outdated and in very bad condition. And Worst was the bed mattress, it was like you are sleeping on an uneven Rock, spring was coming out of the mattress and I used towel and my clothes to make it little manageable. Worst Night ever !!

Room was not ready at 3:30. Staff said they thought it was ready, but it had dirty dishes and a sheets clearly dirty. Staff apologized for our need to wait. Basic accommodation. Ok for walk to catch early morning ferry.

The location is convenient to the Herakluon port and easy walk to a bus stop. The room was clean but every hotel sound could be geard through the walls, so it was not very restful. The desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Convenient location, OK hotel.
This was a comfortable and clean hotel, in a convenient location near the airport and port. We stayed here because we arrived on a late flight, and needed a place to stay for the night before picking up our hired car the next morning. The staff were friendly, and the hotel did the job. However, the room was quite basic, and the location was not the best for tourists, quite far from the old city, Venetian port and the main restaurant and night life area. The hotel was less charming (although also less expensive) than others in the area, and is more practical than a nice place to stay.

Convenient to port
We had a perfectly pleasant stay. It's only ten minutes from the port walking, and going to the port in the morning, it's downhill. There is a restaurant nearby with a view of the port. Planes do fly overhead, but this wasn't a problem overnight. I closed the window and ran the air conditioning and only heard one once in the morning. Probably they don't have night flights. Not a bad walk to town either. The hotel also serves meals and are flexible about the operating hours to suit their guests (or at least, they were for us). The staff gave us free cold water bottles when we arrived (probably noticing that we were hot from the walk in). That was an unexpected bonus I haven't seen anywhere else.

It's extremely noisy as it's located not so far from the airport. Our walls were vibrating from each plain's noise. I would not recommend to stay there, it's also overpriced.

Convenient
Convenient for city centre, bus station, port and the airport. Ten minutes on local bus to airport and less than 2 Euros. Bus every 10 mins at top of road. Near sea front and an easy walk into town.
