"The Couple that owns Stone Haus are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. We booked a room and we were the only guests so they upgraded our room. They really go out of there way to make you feel welcome. Breakfast was amazing. If you are staying in Hermann you can't go wrong with Stone Haus."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Bloom House with our 5 kids. Like a lot of the homes in Hermann, this one has many historic features intact which brings both charm and challenge when compared to newer homes. The upstairs was perfect for multiple kids to use with spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. The main level has two bedrooms, spacious living room, and kitchen/dining. The beds were ok but not great quality. The bathroom downstairs didn’t have a lot of storage and was guarded with a sliding barn house style door so was not very private. The kitchen was stocked with basic needs but lacked space and storage to cook for our family of 7. We brought a portable propane grill to supplement our cooking needs which worked out great on the back patio! The outdoor space was utilized daily by our crew. It is a little awkward sharing the outdoor space with renters of the Bloom Suite but we never had any issues. Overall it was a great value for the space and we would recommend it for anyone with a large group/family!"

"Excellent cottage in Hermann. Gorgeous cottage interior. Living room furniture was comfy and in great condition. Bedroom offered luggage racks (which is always helpful) and we appreciated that small touch. Bathroom is spacious! Lots of small touches that matter. The outside area is wonderful for relaxation. Definitely a 10/10. Exterior well lite if arriving after dark. Loved this cottage."

"My wife and I had a wonderful time during our stay. The booking process was easy and the manager, Laurie, was wonderful to work with. She was responsive, kind and understanding (especially with our train being delayed and canceled on checkout day). The hotel was a gorgeous historical site, allowing guests to take self-guided tours at any chance they’d like. When we first arrived, we were shown a brief tour and led to our room, The Presidential Suite. We would highly recommend this room if you’re after that historical experience; be prepared to take a bath though, as there isn’t a shower like the other rooms, and the train is close by so you will hear it coming in and leaving (wasn’t too bad with a fan or earplugs which were both provided). The owners and operators of the White House Hotel have worked hard to maintain this 1860’s structure and are still working towards more restorations. We are definitely staying here again on our next trip! We would also recommend the Hermann Trolley for an activity and the Hermann 1837 Cellar Bar that has live music every night!"
