Very run down. Clean enough and staff were pleasant, but buttons were worn off the heater unit, stairs to 2nd floor were broken and dangerous.

So this is a toss up , room was clean needs updating for sure but clean . Room smelled BUT no fault of their own it was a smoking room .. I don’t typically get a smoking room. Should have a room spray / freshener in it .. was awful I bought some spray that eliminates smoke odors didn’t help .. BUT that’s what I get for a smoking room . Guy who checked us in was great he was friendly made checking in a breeze … description said restaurant on site but that wasn’t the case although they serve breakfast no restaurant, wouldn’t of changed our stay but was disappointing when driving for serval hours thinking we could check in eat there and go to bed . Breakfast was decent considering it’s included in the price so I would never complain about that regardless. Would stay again .. in a nonsmoking room . Again clean rooms friendly staff

Refrigerator was making a noise and had to unplug to sleep. People talking outside the room at night, smelled a little in room and reception area. Things didn’t look really clean. Walls were patched up. A fly was in room and 2 in small restaurant area. It was an “ok” room but wouldn’t stay again

I checked in Saturday afternoon and shortly there after I noticed a charge of double of what I was quoted by Expedia. I questioned the front desk and all they would repeat is that it is a hold of $130 that Choice tacks on for 5 days? I have never been charged for a room prior to me checking out let alone double the room fee. I just stayed at a Hilton Garden on 7/1/23, booked 3 rooms and were not charged for the rooms till I was checking out. I feel there is fraud going on either with Expedia or the motel itself. This place was a dump with employees that had no idea how to answer questions as to how their system charges customers.

The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good water pressure. The guy working at the front desk that night was super friendly and understanding of the accommodations we asked for (main level room so that my husband on dialysis would not have to do the stairs to get to our room). They have a very good breakfast starting at 6am until 10am. Including waffles, eggs, sausage, cold cereal and oatmeal packets, bagels, toast and juice. I was pleasantly surprised. The morning staff was pleasantly greeting when we went to get breakfast as well. We would definitely stay here again if we were back in the area.

Charged for a hotel but was allocated a motel
This is not a hotel at all but really a motel and that too a dilapidated one. Worth only 1/3 of the price paid.

Quick and Cheap but could use a few upgrades.
Pros- Front desk staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable. Price decent for quick overnight stay. Cons- Carpet in room has stains and trash when we arrive. Bathtub filled with water when showering. Continental breakfast was cereal, shriveled fruit scrambled eggs and sausage. Outside grounds keeping was overgrown and could have used some curb appeal. We go camping, this was only one step up from that unfortunately 😕
