There weren’t regular pillows on the bed. They were more like decorative style pillows. The sink in the bathroom didn’t drain at all so after one night, it was full of standing water. Overall, the property needs a lot of updates and maintenance. Otherwise it shouldn’t be priced at what it was

Hotel is clean, reasonably comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast was good. A good location for a quick visit. Not a luxury hotel but it serves its purpose. This was second time at this location and would stop in again.

Easy access to highways and The Hickory Convention Center area. If you like chain restaurants, then you're good here. If not, you might have to go downtown or somewhere else. The Hotel itself seemed nice. It was VERY cold on my trip so i didn't get to look around outside much, but what I did see appeared fine. The room was clean, everything worked, and the front desk was friendly and pleasant. The hallways were a bit "smoky", but other than the contact high all was fine. The area is not very walkable, typical highway connector and commercial area. Hickory is a nice small city, a nice Convention Center, interesting downtown area, and a nice visit.
