The room was clean, as were the linens and it smelled fresh. The staff was great. I arrived a little early and the gentleman at the desk was completely personable and accommodating. I had reserved 2 beds, but I did not need both, so I was offered a single and I'm glad I took it because it was at the end of the hall so I enjoyed a quite night.

Fine for a night or two
It's not the Ritz, but it is a pleasant place to stay for a short visit. The king size bed was comfortable and really a king (most seem much smaller). The rooms are a bit worn, but it did the job. Although there is an area for breakfast (tables, chairs and counters), there is none. That would be a plus if they added that. The coffee machine that made all types of hot drinks was nice.

Good value, low price
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. I was expecting a fleabag but it was clean, cozy, quiet and best of all it was recently updated inside. The beds are great and actually were better than a recent 4 star hotel I stayed at that were worn out. These were fluffy and firm at same time. The bathroom tile and fixtures are dated, but so what? it was clean! The rooms are all facing a hallway so that cuts down on road noise. The lamps and furniture seem new, and the paint and trim all look like they are brand new and recent redone. I am guessing it used to be another major brand hotel at one time? Staff were friendly and the room cleaners were busy busy all day long working. They even put the little gold sticker on the TP dispenser. I would stay here again if I come back again for business. Nice central location for business around Long Island and east access to highway
