Pleasant modern hotel, a little lacking in character, with good facilities and a good breakfast (although more guests than the buffet facilities could easily accommodate).

Hotel was very clean and well located. Service from staff was acceptable, neither overly helpful or unfriendly, but could have done with a little more of a friendly/cheerful approach. Free parking outside was easy to find, or you could pay for the underground car park. Access to the thermal spa from within the hotel was great, just pop a hotel robe on and go up via the lift, just don't forget your own flip flops! Breakfast choice was fantastic, but no-one to seat you or explain where everything was, although we found seating quite easily. I have stayed at the sister hotel in Spa, which personally I found more enjoyable, but wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend, especially for the location and price.

Luxury and good value, with no hidden extras!

We enjoyed being in the centre of the town with the convenient free parking directly in front of the hotel. We thought the breakfasts were plentiful and excellent. We had a decent full sized extra bed for our 10 year old son which fitted in the standard room fine. We all slept well, appreciated the tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities and found the bathroom more spacious than most hotel rooms. We also made good use of the hotel sauna and mini fitness room and thought the bathrobes were a nice touch! The free wifi was excellent using multiple devices. It was a little ambiguous with the beautiful 'Themes de Spa' photos on the hotel website…but a quick phone call to the hotel from home to check a couple of things, did confirm that these facilities were not included in the room rate! We had three days super biking and walking, the Tourist Info has maps and the routes were excellently signed. The town itself has faded charm, but needs some paintwork touching up at the very least… The hotel were very accommodating allowing us to lock up our bikes in the underground car park. We would recommend this hotel.

Great Location, Comfortable Accommodations

Prime location in the heart of this charming small town, with private access to the funicular trolley up the hill; amazing views from the spa at the top of the hill. My junior suite on the 4th floor was spacious and comfortable. The hotel restaurant serves a good breakfast and the outdoor terrace is busy in the afternoons during good weather. The selection of cocktails at the bar was far below average.

situation idéale, mais importantes améliorations à

L’accès direct aux thermes par le funiculaire privé est le grand atout de l’hôtel et nous y fera probablement retourner malgré des déceptions et un goût d’essai d’arnaque. Propreté : nous avons dû réclamer (au premier passage la personne n’avait ni enlevé des tasses utilisées, ni remplacé la boîte de Kleenex vide –bien en vue sur le lavabo, ni vidé la poubelle de la salle de bain). Après réclamation le service devint impeccable. Et l’extérieur du petit corridor qui donne accès au funiculaire mériterait aussi que l’on enlève de temps en temps les petits déchets et les mauvaises herbes. Il y avait bien deux peignoirs dans la chambre. Par contre pour des pantoufles en éponge on voulait nous demander de les payer. Face à notre étonnement (un hôtel **** qui est axé sur l’accès aux thermes en peignoir et en pantoufles) une gentille dame à l’accueil nous les offrit. Et vu le très bon petit-déjeuner (de délicieux smoothies – même s’il ne faut pas se présenter à la dernière demi-heure si l’on veut avoir du lard avec les œufs et les fameux smoothies …), je m’apprêtais à leur donner une cote finale de 4/5. Mais l’addition finale me fît de nouveau basculer: on m’avait compté le prix plein pour les chambres et cela sans tenir compte de la réduction d’un peu plus de 10% grâce à la réservation par hôtel.com. Suite à ma réclamation, on m’a directement remboursé le montant porté de trop en compte, mais j’estime une telle erreur grave et je ne leur accorde plus qu’un 2/5.

Nice city, nice hotel

Nice city, nice hotel. Good breakfast. Free parking. Very convenient to live here if you wish to visit "Les Thermes de Spa". The training facilities at the hotel were disappointing.
