Kitchen clean and well equipped, good condition, modern. Parking was simple to access and secure. Had to call as problem with key box lock code, but was assisted promptly and politely by Louise. 5*

Two single beds a bit creaky, not enough toilet roll 1for four nights. Parking spot very tight and not marked very clearly (someone took our parking spot when we returned late one night, hard to find another spot. Overall very happy with our stay

The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. The lights are very bright. This means you cannot leave bedroom door open at night which is difficult when it’s warm. As there’s no air conditioning this would be a major issue in hot weather. It also means trips to the bathroom at night are major issue in waking people up. As a result I would NOT recommend this room to friends and colleagues for these reasons Sorry guys but the room is excellent but the light issue is a major problem

It was a ok stay . Local to a few bars and restaurants. We were on the 2nd floor which was accessed by a lift . However to get to the room we had to negotiate 2 sets of steps which was annoying when you have large heavy suitcases . No complementary water in room ?? Overpriced in my opinion, but its Bristol!!

A fabulous hotel and well worth a stay! We made a last minute booking as a stop off on the motorway - it's about a mile from the M5 but you'd never know it. A beautiful old building and great amenities mean you don't either need or want to go elsewhere. A choice of a fine dining restaurant or the bistro-style Atrium meets all needs. Had it been better weather when we were there we would have loved sitting out on the beautiful terrace and enjoying the garden. I'm very very fussy about hotels and my only complaints were that our room was so far from reception and that the shower tray had a trace of limescale in it but I really am picking at small things as overall this hotel is excellent and great value for money.
